I don't know if this story is true, but it makes perfect sense. People used to play Hold'Em and usedextra cards from similar decks so they could cheat. to avoyd that, Omaha gives each player four cards to play only with two. This way, it's like it everyone would have the chance to cheat, just with the difference of not chosing those two extra cards. Thanks for sharing this video, it's nice to know about this!

I've actually read about this or a similar story somewhere on-line or in a book. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it seem's like the type of story that could get such a game implemented. I'm actually becoming a better Omaha player after 2+ and enjoy it where as I used to dread getting involved with the game.

It is the first time im hearing about how Omaha was created and the story was a bit of funny. Not one that cant be real, if someone has in mind what humans are capable of.
