Multi Prize Poker.   0
Roberto Romanello is one of the UK's top players in the last few years.
Roberto's new concept gives players the chance to enter a tournament at three different prices.
The structure of Multi Prize Poker works in the following way:

Players can buy into a tournament for $25, $50 or $100 (these amounts are just for illustrative purposes).

Those entering at $25 will only be able to win money from prizepool 1 (the default prizepool).

Players paying $50 will have $25 of their buy-in put into prizepool 1 and $25 into prizepool 2.

Finally, a player who buys in for $100 will have $25 invested in prizepool 1, $25 invested in prizepool 2 and $50 invested in prizepool 3.

If a player in the first prizepool wins the tournament they win the lion's share of prizepool 1.

A player competing in prizepool 2 is eligible to win money from the first and second prizepool, while a player in prizepool 3 can win money from all the prizepools.

The format is set to debut at Dusk Till Dawn on January 10 and it's hoped it will create a new way to play tournament poker.

the concept sounds ok, but, if u entered only into prizepool 1 and won 1st place finish ur only getting paid top prize from that prizepool if only a few entrants at that level ur return will be very limited to that prizepool it seems ..will need to see a clear example of tournee structure of payout deal.
saying that tho it could be a good return on minimum buy in, but would be a sick to win and loose out on the higher buy in structure, but a wins a win still ..gg all gl

I may being a bit old fashioned but to me this just seem to be over complicating a simple concept that already works perfectly.

Just seems like a great way to get ur ass kicked by better players who usually go into bigger buy-in tourneys Disagree

Some trying to make a new breakthrough in poker lately by creating new
variations of the game.
Havent seen anything working so far.
And some new "poker" went out too fast.
Most of the players will say though, that are happy if they can manage to win one
prize after all Smile

if they did start this up then tell me how it would work if you say had 100 runners 40 at top buy in 30 at mid and low buy in and all the top buy in people got knocked out before the payouts???
