One of the most popular poker tournaments outside of the World Series of Poker begins today, as the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event gets underway on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The $10,300 main event starts with two day ones, and will play down to a final table on Sunday.

this tournament is my most fav live tourney there is- i just find it a perfect match: the location, atmosphere, sexy babes, cocktails at the beach, playing poker for millions on stake...sweet. maybe i will joint the players in the pca one day, at least as a janitor/garbage boy or gonna escort sara underwood to the tourney

It must be great to have the chance t play on a big one like this. I have been almost winning a $525 ticket for the PCA but unfortunatelly i haven't got it. And the mobster who won it will be playing to get a pack for the main event, it must be awesome to have the chance to fly there, meeting lots of good players, pass some days relaxing and playing...
I went there last year and its even more awesome than you would expect, especially when you cash This year though, I got close to the package 3 times, but no cigar The crazy thing is by brother who is quite an amateur poker player is there right now, he qualified for 10 dollars first try , Unfortunately he busted at the end of first day but they did write a whole article about him on pokerstarsblog, its called in the main event for the price of lunch. Should've seen my face when I came across that article yesterday
