If that true, than he is really one of the best players last time. I´m wondering that a lot of the big pros have a bad statistic ( like the ft pros in the past). And i didn´t read about pros with good winnings longterm.

These winnings were made mostly online or live?

I think when judging a player this little specification should be always mentioned, i mean there are amazing live tournament players like Seidel that don't even play online.

G'day mate

You make a very valid point I know a player who is from my hometown province here in Canada. He has made a lot of money playing online but does not want anyone to know who he is at all.
I never see him go to a live event and does not like to tell people what he does at all.
He was thinking about getting married and his girlfriend just thought he was going to university.
Her father feel in love with him when he asked him...
"So tell me son just how do you think your going to support my little girl or yourself son. An Arts degree is not worth much these days."
My friends response was (so i have been told was)

"Sir I have no idea who told you I was going to school for an Arts degree. I have already graduated with a Bachelor in Business Admin. & I also have my Masters Degree in Business Administrations. I am retired now Sir at the age of 26. I just thought I would keep living of the $3.5 million dollars I have won playing online poker and spend the income from my 3 rental properties where I invested my first million."

His wife said her father hugged him and said welcome to our family my boy and kissed his cheek.
He has since taught his father in law to play cards.
Hmm I wonder how he is doing now.

It's to bad it takes money for someone to be accepted in most cases. This being a prime example of why this guy (the father) would have been told what does it matter, I work and love your daughter, isn't that enough?
I didn't let my wife know or anyone else that my father was a selfmade wealthy man, not a millionaire, but worth well over that. All I've ever done is work. Although, I'm a college grad with a degree in Quality Engineering and do well, I would never let someone like this know about my assets or networth.

Nothing against the story, but people who want to be my riendare exactly that prior to knowing anything about my finances.

Hello Green,

Well said sir. I know some very wealthy people and although I am NOT currently wealthy I have had
a lot of money in the past. I have never taken money from my friends even the ones who could easily to part with it as I have never felt right about borrowing money from anyone.
I would like all the money owed to me to get back to me thought it would be somewhere around 35K or so i think and if I could get 5% interest I would love that too. Smile
I know however now that none of that money is ever going to be returned to me and I no longer associate with those people. It is sad how easily people walk away from friendship when you can no longer pay for everything, and they are suddenly expected to pay there own way.
You really do learn who was your friend and who was just a leech.

Well good luck to you mate
