PCA 2013: Scott Seiver Wins The Super High Roller!

When the final table of the Super High Roller started yesterday, David "Doc" Sands had nearly half the chips in play. Sands had about 60 percent of the chips in[...]   Read more » PCA 2013: Scott Seiver Wins The Super High Roller!

I seen Scott play a few times on tv and i think he's great.
He makes crazy calls and bets, especially when i seen him play cash games.

Although he got lucky here he is the real deal.

well lets be honest here- a bad beat cost david almost 800K, and seiver just got lucky when i mattered, i'm not arguing whether he's a good or bad player- he just caught the right cards at the most important moment. lool now david is probably thinking that he should have agreed to split the prize-pool

It shouldn't have been easy to see the first time ran away from our hands because of a well played hand. 99 vs 1010 is a runner runner, 1010 ahead pre-flop, but after the flop things are completely different and, in this case, the tables cards brought the victory to the weaker hand and that kept till the end. Then it was just a matter of time.

The $100,000 Super High Roller event attracted a respectable field of 59, which consisted of some of the biggest names in poker including Jason Mercier, Antonio Esfandiari, Tobias ' Reinkemeier, ElkY, Vanessa Selbst, Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu.
They all would have to step aside for WPT and WSOP winner Scott Seiver, who defeated David Sands heads up for the title and the $2 million first prize.

In the previous thread about the High Roller final table I think you will find one person who picked Scott Seiver as the winner - ME.

I know he hit lucky with the pocket 9's but lucky is made and we need to make our own luck........

Gl to you all......................... Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

SAcott Seiver is lucky because that thing doesnt born for everyone! While the luck is with you, you just need to take a chance, because you never know when lucky will betray you!

This is an amazing comeback for Scott on the high stakes online scene, as you all know he is one of the biggest winners on the draw games so far too Big Smile

I'm really looking forward to see more of him on the full tilt tables Smile

Hello

It can be seen again in poker, anything can happen! Only 60% of the chips, and even with the dominant cards called the all-in and there is only 1 ticket and almost all the chips are gone so that you have to go to the next all-in hand.

A nice end to the year and a good start to a new one for Scott....... I'm not sure it matters that it comes down to a few lucky cards or quality play, as whichever way, he won and if we all think of our best wins, there was a huge lucky turn or river involved!
