Hey guys and gals & dudes competition is always fun to have/take part/be involved in, what about us having some sort of regular "BRM post of the week" competition...basically post which gets most in the week is the winner. Surely some sort of symbolic prize from BRM would make this competition more attractive- it could be anything smallish, like 10 mobsafe shots, 13 mob daw tickets or 14 mobpoints , you get the idea....so would this be cool or am i talking nonsense
oh yeah i'm really cool- screwed up the title BMR lol...now we basically have no chance of getting any attention from admin/brm

Seems interesting enough, specially if it would have some kind of reward involved. Not sure if its doable thou. Some might just be starting to refrain giving in post hoping to have some given in theirs and therefore winning the prize. People are greedy lol, no matter whats the stake.
And for those like me that are not funny at all or have very lamme ideas there would be little chance of winning ... unless writing post like:

G'date mate I am sorry pochui but I think this is a bad idea mate. I think people would just start throwing around the thumbs ups just to try and help there favorite posters win. I mean you and Greenmohave will just keep winning mate.

Currently i think there are lots of things running in BRM so no need to complicate it by adding something like this. Who ever wants to post can do so, and probably the race will turn things ugly at some point, and will need a referee

I think you pretty much have this in the bag. You have something to post about daily and it's usually not nonsense. That would have to be part of the gig. I mean we'd have to post about logical subjects which pertain to poker for the most part.

------------ @ the rest of the bunch: 1) somehow u all think that post of the week must be funny, pure humor etc.- i think post of the week could be anything that is worth the title: it can be someone giving real good strategy advice, someone with a real great answer on the question raised etc. endless possibilities, oh yeah anyone who posts pics of big boobs should have a permanent advantage (like 54 thumbs up in advance) 2) again most of u talk on the negatives- system will be manipulated, cheated bla bla bla- ok what's th point in doing that? for winning measly 20 mobpoints or u think that getting "brm post of the week" award will grow your penis by 5 cm think again (actually it will grow it by 6cm) 3) we can think of any other system than the thumbs up...like for instance picking 10 posts of the last week that got most attention and throwing them into a poll- whoever wins, gets the award...
hey dudes be more positive, competition should be fun, take a break from "fcuk u, that damn river, u'r a moron" etc. table talk. the idea was having some sort of activity just to brighten up the day...thanks everyone for the answers...
