G'day Mates
So I thought I would start a new Tournament thread. So what is everyone playing in I want to rail some of you. I am currently playing in the E$2.25 (1K Gtd.) on PStars. it allows for 30 minutes of late registration and only been running 9 minutes so hopefully i will do well. I will update later.

Update time.
Ok we are on a break and there are 283 players left. my 4918 chips stack puts me in 159th place with 90 places getting paid. I need to loosen up and take a few risk to make some chips since the last 3 times I tried to play a hand everyone folded. My preflop aces and my kings got me nothing but the blinds as did my flopped set in big blind position.

saw your shove with a5 running into the chip leader with aq unlucky although i thought stars was going to do its magic and give you the straight on the river

update time.
Well im out of the tournament. that did not work. I guess I should have just keep playing tight as soon as I tried to open things up I got screwed and I consider it to have been my own fault.

Well I decided to start my poker by playing in the big $5.50 (20K Gtd.) on PStars. It has a 120 late registration period which i think is way to long but i do not get to make them choices. I just get to deside to play in them or not. I hope I can run well in it. will update later.

The Big $5.50 is now on its first break and I am doing ok so far. I have $11475 in chips which puts me in 134th place out of 3211 players but the is still an hour of late registration left so I can count on a lot of new players jumping into the tourny. Still for now I hope I can keep running well and playing my "A" game. Trying to stay calm and NOT act like a dumbass sherrif. willing to let other people make the dumb pre flop all in calls I got the time to stay calm and wait for my spots to chip up.

Update time.
Well it has been a real roller coaster ride I suffered 4 river sucks against me, 3 times by the same idiot who I eventually eliminated from the tournament but not before he lost 90% of my lost chips to other players first. I had AA,KK,AA all cracked. I had a king high boat cracked by quads.
I have lost almost 32K in chips and keep rebuilding myself back up again.
We are currently on break and I have $15673 chips which puts me in 347th place out of 2473 players. The late registration period is still not over yet so I will update later.

ok Update time.
The Big $5.50 (20K Gtd.) on PStars is what I am currently playing. The total number of entrants was 7342 for a prise pool of $36,710 990 places get paid. There are currently 1022 players left and I am card dead now for awhile. I have $7318 chips which puts me in 886th place over all at this time. I WILL make the money so I am going to get my buy in back. I am going to play with as much strategy as I can and hope to get some cards to make chips with. I still want to make the final table and run deep. Luck too us all in poker games today.

Ok the final update for this tournament is as follows. I am out in 195th place which was a $12.11 cash win for me. I had 6 big blinds left and got ace queen in good position so I shoved them in got called by 2 players one had pocet 2's and one had pocket 3's. the pocket 3's took us both out at once. Well at least I made the money but am disappointed as to how card dead I was the last 45 minutes but next time I will own there arses

ul you will get there soon. Still an ok double money cash which is always good. was railing but cant chat as i am chat banned (again 10th month out of 12) its just our luck that when we push our last few chips with ajaqak we up against pairs and dont hit yet when we shove with pairs or at least when i shove with a pair the ak aq aj arag gets there

Thanks for the vote of support. I too think you will also get there mate. I am just starting to play a small 45 man SnG with a $3.50 buy in so the top 7 players make the money. I have won these before and hope I do so now.

Ronin...... well done for cashing in. Maintain your focus on patience and dont get disheartened by a bad run of cards....it happens. The key is to maintain concentration throughout. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the support. It can sometimes get very frustration seeing so many had earned chips get sucked away by idiots without a clue chasing to the river and getting rewarded constantly. I do fine when I can remember to stay calm and relaxed it is when I am rocking hard to fast paced rock music that i seem to get to aggressive and go on tilt, then I lose all my focus and spew my chips, then i want to whine about getting beat. Lol
I'm just saying I have seen a pattern here I seem to win more listening to nothing or very soft calming music.

Well congrats with your 195 th place which is a nice result (doubled your buy-in)
Playing such big MTT suceesfully means a lot of patience... waiting for good hands and observing opponents, making good postflop decisions and having some bad beats and bad rivers.
Still if you get ITM regurlarly it means your play is good and with some luck you ll reach the final table one day

It is on PStars and it will be the $2.20 NL Holdem (5K Gtd.) which starts in about 25 minutes.

Update time for the following tournament.
It is on PStars and it will be the $2.20 NL Holdem (5K Gtd.) We are now on a break.
There was 2818 Entrants and we currently have 564 players left. The Top 324 places get paid. I currently have $8200 in chips which puts me in 338th place. i had more chips before but suffered a few suckouts and missed a few large outers which cost me. I still feel confident I can make the money and If i just get a couple good hands can chip up to run deep. I will update again later.
