On Friday a select group of nations were assembled at PokerStars Caribbean Adventure to contest the World Cup of Poker.
Using a Sit & Go format, the event saw established poker powerhouses such as Russia and Germany tussling with emerging nations Japan and Tajikistan.
After three days of action, the final battle for the title came down to Germany and Russia.
That left the Russian's as Champions with 222 points, ahead of Germany (218) and Tajikistan (217).
