On the WSOP-Circuit tour Alexandru Masek is the main man. In the last 24 hours the 27 year old from California claimed a record-breaking title inside Los Angles Bicycle Casino. A healthy field of 212 players anted up $345 to create a prizepool of $63,600 in the ninth event of the national series. With shortened levels, the final table was reached within 12 hours and by hour 13 it was all over after Masek overcame William Fagerbakke. The win netted Masek $15,905 and took his WSOP-C total earnings to $283,837. More importantly, though, the victory made him the most successful WSOP-C player in history with six Champion's rings.
