Thanks to PokerStars' ingenuity, the lines between virtual and reality were blurred as super grinder Randy Lew embarked on a live multi-table challenge.
Placing five tables in a 360 degree arrangement, Randy sat in the middle for the final of "Challenge Team Online".The prize for anyone who could beat Randy heads-up was a $700 TCOOP final ticket.
Additionally, the organisers offered a $1,500 Tag Heuer watch to the person who could beat Randy the quickest.
Spinning in his chair like a tornado, it didn't take long for Randy to dispatch with Jordan Morgan and Nobbi Tanaka.
However, after his initial success, Randy's three other opponents proved more difficult.
Arvid Larsson was the first to collect one of Randy's stacks and bag himself the watch as well as the $700 tournament ticket.
That loss left just two opponents to focus on; however, with variance against him, Randy eventually surrendered his remaining chips to Mina Harand Pour and Ramon Jaanipene.
