Pius Heinz parts with PokerStars  0
2011 WSOP Main Event winner Pius Heinz and PokerStars have parted ways.
The German pro joined the company after his $8 million win, but just 18 months on his name is now absent from the site's pro roster.
Having served as an ambassador from the company on numerous mainstream media outlets, the departure has come as a surprise to many.
While neither PokerStars nor Heinz has confirmed the news, it seems as though the online poker room has been conducting an overhaul of its team recently.
Indeed, in the last few weeks Spain's Ana Marquez parted ways with the company, whilst British tournament pro, Jake Cody, has joined their ranks.

Could be he's put his interest in other areas. Going into business, higher education, or taking a break. He's done quite well for himself and now has the ability to do other things. He's relatively young and can explore many other options. Don't think this will be the last time we hear from him.

Good day everyone Smile
Pokerstars are looking for something new everyday ... !! they are bringing in a lot of youngsters and recent time winners a lot ... so that they gain some popularity .. what ever pius heinz is a very good player and he'll find something equivalent and move on ... well he may also have decided to take a break from poker and do some other things which he have missed while playing poker !! so the reason could be anything !!

For me and for many people out there this sponsorship programs it's a wrong marketing move, i think the majority of players would be a lot more interested in more promotions than on a new name on the PRO stars team...

It's good that on FTP they limited to Viktor, Tom and Gus Smile

His time in the limelight is over, just like most recent winners of the main event. There are no more big tourney wins for those players, so they get replaced by the new winner of the main event.

Nolan Dalla has been around the poker industry long enough to know when something is positive or not.

Having seen and documented the rise and fall of the industry over the last 20 years, he's well placed to offer his thoughts on PokerStars' recent purchase of the Atlantic Club Casino.

In a recent blog post, the poker writer has outlined why he thinks the move is not only good for PokerStars, but poker in general.

Indeed, as a final point for readers to ponder, he suggests that PokerStars' acquisition signals more than their expansion, but the start of online poker's return to the US.

This guys always like to improve, and it's not easy to keep both parts happy. I guess it must have been good until now for th player and also for PS, but maybe he's tired and starting to look at this new way of life he's having as something with a big routine he isn't liking anymore. People with money tend to get tired of stuff quicker than others!
