Oh I know all too well how you feel man. I shudder every time I see a big pair, like aces or kings in my hand, because I get that "ok, here we go I'm gone" feeling if we get our chips in pre, especially if I've been playing well. Of course I don't let it affect how I play the hand, and I KNOW my hand will hold in the long run (I have my HEM DB with 100's of thousands of hands to prove that).

That's a terible feeling and when playing electronic poker you know that the donk playing the 10,7 is gonna get ya sooner or later. I guess that's why I've become real skeptical about going allin until I see the flop. I know this can bite me to, but I think the odds are better if you see the flop, then decide. And, I don't mean slow playing A,A or K,K just cautious any more. Good Luck with that Q,Q though!

A 75% chance isn't a 100% chance. So there will be losses with better starting hands. The human brain remembers those bad things better, so after a while it seams that you got beat after beat.

i know this mate all im saying in this specific case when you are "dominating" another player it really does seem like that 75% is not winning anywhere near as much as it should.

like retibution pointed out- use db of any kind & only then speak about the facts- to be honest when you say "amazing how many times 3 out of 4 loses to 1 out of 4"you must some sort of number in front of your eyes huh...i mean what exactly is "many times"- when you have numbers you can answer this question easily, if you have no stats, then you're just expressing emotions....
