So as some of you know I've been playing PLO and PLO8 and not doing too bad. Anyway i played two on friday. finished ITM in the PLO and got nowhere near on the PLO8. Yesterday i played PLO and finished 22nd (20 got paid) and got nowhere again in PLO8.
But today i played only the PLO8 and beat my best result by taking it down for $57.27 woohoo over the moon I'm so glad i decided to start playing these tourneys.

Lately I've been playing more ring game short handed and doing ok... maybe not yet profitable but I'm happy to say it's not coz of my play more coz of my luck .. Once i start to survive the river ill do better

Congrats bullet, keep on going
PLO is really a postflop game and as long as your using your ods vs the potods you can play it profitable. (especially in torneys)
PLO hi/lo can be tricky by splitted hi or low pots especially with 3 players ... .1 wins the high, low pot splits and you loose chips instead of winning chips with the best low hand.

So finally you made it. Nicely done. It didnt took you long enough to take that first place. Thats a very good sign you can make a good profit by playing Omaha games. Best of luck on your future games.

thanks again for all the comments. really appreciate them
thefly; i pretty much try and play cards that i can win both the high and the low hands with. these games are pretty soft to be honest so people will call down alot with what they think can win the low hand with when in actual fact they are way behind.
i think i can do well at these levels because most of the field don't really have a clue what they are doing. which suits me fine because i'm no expert either. i think i would struggle if i went up levels.

Congratulatiosn mate, you scored so many top places on those PLO tournaments and it was pretty much inevitable that you'll end one on the first place sooner or later
Keep playing them, you can make some really nice cash from them

Urgh!!! what a stark contrast from yesterday. just played the $1.30 PLO8 again. was doing OK, got my starting stack up from 1500 to almost 4k in about 15mins then i played 2hands (not one straight after the other) where i had the best draws (up and down straight and nut flush draws, with the possible best low) on both hands. i split the 1st, his top two pair held and i had low. the second was crazy, i had the draws mentioned. i had A 4 9 10 Flop was 2 7 8 the money went in, turn was 7 river 7 the guy shows KKxx (all he had was an over pair) lol i had him covered by about 500.
went out the next hand
so i guess it wasn't my day today. would of been nice to hit back to back wins or would that be too greedy?

With the bankroll you have made so far you are covered for way more losses than that. And its only normal to lose from time to time. You cant win them all no matter how hard you try

Nice one Bullett...stacking up the cash by the looksof it. Im not into Ohmaha but have fond sosme success with pot or fixed limit holdem as opposed to no limit. people defo play differently andit seems to sit; so, as they say, to each, their own.

That's killer to do playing PLO8. The only time I play any Omaha is if I get to play in the HORSE Freeroll which really isn't worth the time as for the money. Carbon only pays 13.50 if your first and that's a 5000 player field. Anyway I enjoy playing HORSE so that's why I participate. Congrats on knocking it down though.
