Bad Beats Freeroll Players!  0
This is start to be annoying! I saw a post about Freerolls Leaderboard & BRM memners. i posted there my idea about how it is possible to work these, no one answer, so i make another thread about the same problem... I am really tired of bingo players and bad beats. I fold 10 BB, for a good hand and when it comes, i loose in front of a bad bead, from a player who doesen't give a **** about these... I saw your recomandation about not playing anymore these FR if i don't like the situation. i wonder why? Things can be changed. You can make a list of BRM members and send it to PS, or other sites (i play only PS). You can also make rules for players who wanna play these freeroll, like: "you will be in that list, if you will open half of the doors/ month, 75" (exemple). Not necesary of hard rules.. just enough for you to have activity on the site and players will show their interest. And PS will give monthly tickets (exemple), for members from that list, and the password from the site. For the new members, they can be able to play, after a month, if they meet your rules. I'm trying to make a chanege b/c what is happening in your freerolls now, is not normaly... I play on PS only your freeroll, and if i win something, i play buy-in and your freeroll. And if i play 5/day, from 3(for sure) i will be out, b/c of a bad beat... b/c of a moron, who go all in with 7/2 or 6/3 (off suit), and i will loose my good hand, witch i waiting for 10 BB... I also have friends who stop it to play your freeroll, b/c of this kind of players... I don't wanna stop and i don't wanna go, b/c i'm not the bad person!!!! I will not go myself to let morons to do the same things to anothers!!!
P.S. Sorry if i misspelled some words, or my English grammar sucks.

G'day mate

Well I just read your post and I would like to point out that you get the exact same type of play in all freeroll tournaments and even most micro buy-in tournaments as well. If you are a member of the PStars poker school online, then you should really be used to the total donk plays which you are unhappy about dealing with.
I am sorry but you MUST accept that those types of players do exist at ALL levels of game play.
I do not have any real advice for you but try to stay calm and understand that in freerolls there are a lot of players who do not give a s**t what two cards they have because there are not losing nothing of their own if they lose. Also remember some players only want to cause others to tilt or bust out as much as they can.
You must develop a thicker skin or you are never going to be happy playing poker.

I remember Ronin was a fighter... A person who not accept injustice. I know there is morons who don't give a ****. That's why i want these, they will loose to, they will play if they will meet the rules... and also, i wanna make a shame list, if these will be make it. A thread where anybody can post their hands and the moron nick. These way, maybe moron will think twice...

My opinion is , making these tournaments so that they are restricted only to brm members will add extra publicity to bankrollmob , because when some stranger will want the password, he'll have to come to the site , and not go to any crappy forum or other crap to easily find the password, so if they would make the password exclusive for brmembers only , they will have only to gain from this , but I don't know what to say , I think they just don't care that much Smile .

When i said about a list, and tickets, and rules... I don't think BRM admin will make a list for tickets, with non BRM members... :O

G'day Amigo

Please do not get me wrong I really wish that we could make it so that non-BRM members could not play in the BRM freeroll. I have even tried to put forth ideas about how to close them up too. They was all shot down so believe me a know your frustration. I have all but given up on even playing the freerolls in general unless im in need or I just feel like trying something out so i do not care about the donks.
I hope you do find a better way mate. any and all help will be wonderful.
By all means keep up the good fight just be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.

Good luck to you.

Just to add! I've been a member here for a couple years and the complaints pertaining to the donkies that play in these freerolls has history dating back to when I joined this forum. If you check, probably way before then if research it.
I don't think a lot can be done to prevent this from happening without BRM wanting it to. As Ronin stated, it's not only in the freerolls, but online poker overall in all freerolls or low buyin games. Donks don't care! They never have to face you nor will you ever know who they are and they realize this.

I'm not against your ideas so don't be mislead. I can't play in the BRM freerolls anymore thanks to U.S. government control so be thankful you can.

One pointer! Don't play in any hands until the blinds hit 100.

Hi Ronin & 4 and et al,

All free-rolls are donkey fest's, always have been always will be, to play them you need to moderate your game, sad but true, although this is true in any game at any level. Sometimes even at a high level you will have a "Table Captain", bullying and playing (over) aggressively on any two cards, during the free-rolls they do not of even needed to get the right position, cards, chip value, chip lead etc, I think you need to seek that balance, get really tight, I mean really, really tight, then when the values line up, really aggressive, in between try the odd small ball, I had a run on these a couple of weeks ago, I played 5 or so in a day, finished 118th, 104th (ish), 81st (ish), 1st, 120th (ish) every loss was to a "lesser" hand, if you can say that at the end of any tourney at least you have given yourself every chance, ignore the "crap bad beats" that happens outside this framework and do not let it affect yourself mentally.

Good luck on the tables.

btw a free-roll starts in 5 minutes - donkies ahoy! lol

I know that. i played a lot of 2 and 10c buyins. Here, we can know the players who make bad beats and punish them... We can vote after 3 bad beats, to not play next month. I need support, not ppl who will tell me is not possible, everything is possible! I already said. after some rules, what all players will have to meet, i think moron numbers will be very low. And after a list of shame (bad beats, b-ingo players), i think will remain just 1%! Is much better!!!
Sorry for your Black Friday!

I totally agree with you AlexSimion, there are many people enrolled in these freerolls who obtain the passwords from facebook and other forums. If this freeroll were restricted to BRM members, it would result in an influx of new forum members, since non BRM players would no longer be able to play the freerolls. Is his not good for BRM?

I also see that most other forum freerolls on PS have a ticket system or are otherwise restricted. I think that it is ridiculous that a forum as big as BRM cannot find a way to resolve this, when other smaller and less established forums have their freerolls restricted to their members only.

Come on Admin! You have heard enough advocates for change over the years. Surely something can be done.

Poker stars has a home games section, Moving the leaderboard tournaments Pokerstars would keep nonmembers out of those games. I don't know about the other sited with BRM leaderboards since I don't play at those sites but if players that do start asking for a home games section those sites may set them up.

What are you talking about? Is it too much for a coherent or a serious reply? Your comment does not but show the entire world the kind of person you are and frankly it's not a pretty picture! Thumbs Down
