Sekiya's first Australian win  0
Asia's current Player of the Year, Yosuke Sekiya, proved why he's one of his continent's best after winning the Aussie Millions' fourth event.
A total of 206 players started the $1,100 No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha event; however, when the final chips had fallen, it was Sekiya who proved his was the most dexterous.
The dual discipline event meant a speedy pace and by the time nine players remained it was Sam Higgs who led the pack.
However, with a number of players holding less than 10 big blinds, his position soon came under threat.
Indeed, as the field began to shrink it was Sekiya who eventually emerged as the chip leader ahead of Higgs.
Once heads-up, a fortunate twist of fate helped Sekiya's QdJs best Higgs' AcJh and earn him $41,200 and his first Aussie Millions title.
