Michel Bouskila won the Aussie Millions' six-max event. A bumper field of 523 players anted-up $1,100 to compete. However, by the close of play on Day 1 a comparatively meagre total of nine players were still in contention for the lion's share of $523,000. As the field continued to shrink it looked as though one of Australia's top rated players, Tom Grigg, would be taking the title. However, his abilities couldn't overcome Michel Bouskila's burgeoning stack. With a 4/1 chip lead over Grigg, it didn't take long for Bouskila to close out the match and scoop $110,000 and his first Aussie Millions title.
