With a small bankroll like that , The best freeroll offer is indeed a major factor to take into consideration. If you are not much of a freeroll player, then you should choose a site that offers you the biggest variety of low entry tournaments. Probably a big site like pokerstars would give you more options.
Hi man I don't think the size of your bankroll influence the choice of the pokersite you will play... as it's just your own taste... I mean if you love the software and feel at your ease then... because you know there are software that give you headache... but for sure if you have a big bankroll, the best choice would be pokersites with lot of players like pokerstars...

If you have a small BR its important to have lots of low stake games on the website. Must be enough micro traffic to play small buy-in sng's and mtt's or play lowest micro stake cash games.
So that said the best choice for a small BR is playing at the larger sites.

The answer is pretty depend how good player you are.
Bigger poker sites (like PokerStars) attract many players, but including many good players. The smaller sites are (in my opinion) lot easier to win something.
But, in other hand, the bigger poker site is, the more it offer - more freerolls, more promotions, etc.

Indead bigger pokersites offer more freerolls, but also more players --> chances to win go down
smaller pokersites offer less freerolls but also with less players--> bigger win chances

Well, with an ultra-small bankroll I think it kind of opens up your choices a bit, the main reason I left PKR for example, is because the traffic was too low - however - for a $10 bankroll that wouldn't have been the case, since pretty much all sites with >1000 in traffic can cater for micro stakes, since the smaller the stakes, the more players there are. And of course as already mentioned, you can play freeroll with a lot less entrants which is better.
I really don't know what is "better" for a micro bankroll - I guess whatever site you deem the softest, which probably isn't Stars, since there's plenty of micro grinders on that site.
If you're playing freerolls and SnG's, it's probably better to play at smaller poker sites with a small bankroll.l Large sites like Pokerstars have a lot of players in the freerolls and low buy-in SnG's which make it harder to survive long enough to break the bubble. The smaller poker sites have fewer games but also fewer players in the games so you it's actually easier to get paid.
If you're playing low limit cash games then larger sites are probably better.

i would opt for stars- just because your roll (less than $10) would be more than sufficient to play $0.02 990 people sng & $0.10 360 people sng. now why stars? liquidity- it's pretty sh1tty to spend more time waiting for tourney to start then actually playing it....at stars above mentioned tourneys fill up very quickly (considering amount of entrants)- you can easily multitable them too...

If you have really small bankroll like 10$ (seriously, who has 10$ bankroll? ), but you think you are not bad, then I would try cashgame 0.02/0.05 or 0.05/0.10 tables (Dont play from monday-friday, play on saturday-sunday when there are many "weekend playrs", you know, just fishes... Even me, I was able to make 50 bucks with 20 dollar ticket on fulltilt But ofcourse I withdrawed it, but you could start something with that 50$

As pretty much stated, I don't think the pokersite itself would matter, other then what most replied, the ones offering the best freerolls. On the other hand I would be selective as to what level of games I would play. Myself, if I had a $10 BR, I'd probably be playing 9 player, $0.60 SnG's. If your a fair poker player and would place top three you'd be building and this would give you over 15 buyins at $0.60. I'm not that experienced to offer exclusive advice, but I've been at $10.00 several times and that's when I fall back to these SnG's. Good Luck!

Good day everyone With the bankroll of 10$ i would choose pokerstars because it has a really good traffic .. and as stated above you can get a game a game of your choice at any given point of time ... whereas in other rooms we have to wait for the peak hours or else filling up of a tourney would be just time killing ...Ps has a very good traffic for the micros ...

With that amount of money you can play in any credible site which has a good traffic. And of course you need to pick up a site which has at least a 100% deposit bonus, or others (limited) that offer you a % of your deposit in your money account, available for immediate play.

id take the smaller site for sure, smaller fields and generally everyones a fish, a bigger site like stars youll have a tougher time cuz even if u try to play a 1$ MTT you gotta beat out a HUGE field but if u do then you wont be playin 2nl anymore though lol
