tonight i managed to ship my 1st tourney on partypoker, albeit it was only a $50 freeroll, but 1st out of 2086 isnt to bad..pity it wasn't the $5000 or $1000 freeroll
hopefully this will be me on my merry way in 2013, as my goal this year is to not make any deposits on any site, i've been patiently grinding the freerolls with some success, but this 1 being my 1st time shipping one on partypoker feels good

Congratulations! To beat out that many players takes a lot of skill, patience, luck and timing, so best wishes that your 2013 continues on the same path.

Nice one Graham. I play those type of tourneys on PP and I congratulate you as you need a lot of luck AND good play.
Hope to see you on there soon.
Do you play any of the UK only tourneys, UK qualifiers? at 18.00 or 00.00 (GMT) - there are less players and the you don't get many idiots going all-in with nothing.

Don't feel sad for the amount of the prize, you should only feel happy because you manage to get the first prize, which was what every other players entering that tuorney also wanted when they registered. And you were the one who got it, so you should feel proud for your good game!!!

Great job! I understand the goal and at leats now you can play in some games of your chosing. It's a tuff accomplshment making it through some of these freerolls, but you stood the test. Good LUck on building that BR!

GRAHAMY27.....A huge well done. Coming in the money on ParyyPoker is hard enough but to work your way through 2000+ players in a freeroll is some going and you deserve every penny. Well done...heres to the next win.

Posted by Macubaas: Congratulations mate, really nice result, it's good to be glad even if the prize it's not too big
Once you make some money from freerolls what do you want to play to grow your bankroll?
Macubass, i'm kind of growing it slowly, so maybe some small BI mtt's and maybe small cash, i like omaha but cash tables at partypoker are lethal..lol
Thanks again everyone, i'm going to grind the freerolls until the end of February then see what sort of balance i have then to start trying to turn it into serious cash.
Rejoined Fulltilt and they are offering a really good deposit bonus, if i deposit in Jan i get moved up to silver edge i think it was for the month of February, but my goal is not top deposit so looks like i'm going to have to give that a miss
