Betfair London LIVE took place at Aspers London, and was a $650 bounty event with a $100,000 guarantee. The re-entry event attracted 368 entries all together over two day ones, which was a massive increase on the 157 players who entered this event last year, at its previous home of the Fox Poker Club. And would you believe it, one of the Betfair Poker pros only went and took it down. Long time Betfair Poker pro John Tabatabai walked away with the top prize of £24,209, including bounties.

Each time I hear about Betfair live I always remember of my Portuguese friend Marco “The Asics”, who won this event on the first time it was made in Portugal. Friends paid him the buy-in, as a bachelor party gift, and he made first winning €25k. In London, the field must have been similar, as the prizes are also similar.
