Hello everyone!
This is my 3rd post here even though I've been a member for over two years. During this time, I've taken a lot off this website - strategy, freeroll passwords, promotions etc. but haven't given anything back, so I feel I should be more grateful in form of participation on BRM.com in the future.
I should first introduce myself so you'll "get to know me" a little. I'm 22 years old student from Slovenia. Currently I'm studying law because always wanted to be a lawyer having my own office (childhood dream ) It's pretty time consuming but one has to sacrifce if he/she wants success.
My poker "career" began about two years ago when my neighbour brought home a chipset and a deck of cards. Instantly I fell in love with the game and haven't regreted that ever since. My first experience were ofcourse freerolls, and a wasted bankroll of $50 I got from another site. Then there were some Paysafecard deposits, all of them donated to regulars and better players.
So I started wondering - what the heck are you doing wrong? The though began stirring up my mind so I've searched interenet, read many articles, strategy advises, bankroll management stuff and so on.
Later on I began playing 9max cash games on NL2 and grinded up a bankroll for NL5, then NL10. Majority of games were played on Pokerstars, but I also have accounts on PartyPoker/Bwin, Full Tilt which are also used. Ofcourse there are also many others, but they don't really matter cause I seldomly play elsewhere.
Besides cash games I also enjoy massive MTTs, the newest addition are STT SnGs but more about that later on. I've had some success playing tournaments, won just a bit over $2k on Party and had some cashes on Pokerstars aswell.
OK, enough about that. Let'srather talk about my VERY FIRST POKER PROJECT (on any site for that matter) - maybe I should say "my first blog ever".
So what's going on here?
I've recently claimed Bankrollmob's no deposit bonus on PKR.com, because one of my New Year's resolutions was also not to deposit any funds on any of the accounts this year - we'll see how that works out.
So I got the first $10 and I've been grinding $0.1 & some $0.3 STT's and a little of cash games, cause I have to grind out 7500 PP (pkr points) untill February, 28th or my whole balance will be lost. So I'm under a lot of pressure, and obviously going 'all or nothing' style.
By that I dont mean that I'm some crazy, maniac fish not following bankroll management to the note almost. Quite the opposite, I've devised a plan, that will have to be followed to the note, if I'm to achieve that goal.
Anyway, this is my first experienece with 'long-term' sng game so I learn as I go. If there are some of you, that are more experienced in that type of game, any input will be greatly appreciated.
So that's about that - will also post a screenshot of an Excell spreadsheet I've made, after I make 20 posts in the community, so you'll get a better feel for what I'm doing.

haven't played or heard of 'long-term' sng game, but there are lots of members here, surely someone will help you out...

Had quite a few laughs when reading your post. By 'long term sng game' I meant I have never played a volume that would say something about my game.... I should've put it another way obviously.
About that paysafe - I wont give it away free, but feel free to join my club on Pokerstars and we can battle for it. CG or SnG, whichever you'd preffer. Not right now, but someday in the near future, it can be arranged.
Thank you for bringing up the BRM points system, though. I have revised my BRM points/Affiliates tab, and saw they are given automatically, so the question is - Do I need to do anything else?

Just a quick heads up:
cashed $22.5 in PKR's $15k Never deposited freeroll. That's great help in case I don't make the pace. I've got 7 days to deposit and thus retrieve the $22 cash, but doing so, I'd forfeit the FirstDepositBonus offer I was also aiming at in the near future.
I'll probably take the token offer though, since I'd need to deposit $25 to get 100% bonus but I'd need another 7500 PP before I'd be able redeem it in whole...

better to get a rakeback promotion then a bonus deposit promotion, youll save way more money in the long term, i regret taking deposit promotions on my favorite sites.

I dont know, gotta think this through. Although I said I won't deposit this year, I'll have to, just to be able to cashout when I need it. And this promotion kinda attracts me, cuz I only need to dep. minimum - $10, to get the $22.5 - which is like > 100% bonus and instant.
I read the FDB terms & conditions and way I see it, I'd gain more from single instant credit than their offer, main decision factor being I won't be limited by bonus expiry this way.
So my thought process:
"Deposit $10 and collect the $22.5 you've already earned" vs. "Deposit minimum $25, get another $25, but you have to clear it in 60 days, else it's lost" First thought seems more logicall cuz it doesn't hold any more requirements, and is *more* in harmony with my NY resolution

Even though he has never deposited, it is too late for RB as he has already signed up to the site Shame. Still - a 1st deposit bonus is probably worth more than the token you won in the Non-Depositors freeroll (though I do think that freeroll is a great idea on PKRs part). Are you sure you can't take the token AND the deposit bonus?

No, I'm not really sure I can't have both but I believe it is like that. It says "after FIRST deposit" on both descriptions.
About rakeback: surely, there's no fixed RB but I will be redeeming points for cash and only that so this will count as it. No BS imaginary foods, drinks,hotel rooms clothes, etc. (Although I think this is a fine touch by PKR for recreational player)
I think I'll just take the token and be done with it. PKR's known for it's constant reload promotions so I'll see what can be done about RB in the future.
Besides it wouldn't hurt to have another $20 reserve ready if I hit any bumps on the road. I'm moving to $0.30 stakes for this week and hope to reach .60 next Sunday.
I've played 118/188 $0.1 STTs so I didn't reach the pace but I've also started 2 days behind schedule so there wasn't enough time. I raked in some CG hands instead - really tight though as I cannot afford to lose much.
In the end, main thing that matters for this project is rake paid, otherwise I will burn.
This weeks goal is 150 $0.3 sngs, starting BR = $16.19

I'm actually a long-time PKR player,l screen name on there is the same as here.. add me if you like. Heh - just saw you're from Slovenia, I'm actualy 1/4 Slovenian myself, my Grandma migrated from what was Yugoslavia, her siblings are still living in Slovenia now.
PKR offer 30% RB - but if you signed up without it, it's kinda tricky to get onto.. Happened to me and it took a while to get a good RB deal with the, I have 30% RB there now, but that was only after I made Platinum VIP level.
I've moved to stars now though, but I'll probably still play the odd MTT at PKR, I do enjoy their software.

Yeah - this is true, it's not much use for when you're playing high stakes though, since the bonuses usually max out at around $300-$500. They used to always offer a 60 day $600 reload with 40% or better RB on it (when I first signed it was 225pts per $1, later was 250pts (40% RB) for a long time).
Now they're s**t - now it's more like 350-375 per $1 which really isn't very good rakeback.
PKR reload bonuses have really gone downhill over the last 12-18mths. The other thing is they used to be like clock-work, without fail every 60 days there was always another $600 reload. Now you never now when it's going to come and whether it will be 30days or 60days and lump some or incremental and what the RB% will be.
Much better if you can actually get onto the 30% RB deal they have!

Yeah, there is an amateur HUD available, or at least there USED to be, not sure if it was updated for PKR 2.0 or not.. But it was a pretty s**t HUD compared to the major commercial ones, it was a bit of an in-joke on PKR.
You *CAN* also use HEM-1 with a kinda weird work-around, but it's a total mess and it's still not a "HUD" - but you could use the active-player display on HEM-1, not sure if that work-around still works either actually, on the new PKR client..
However - HEM-2 have officially announced support for PKR is coming, since PKR brought out the client that allowed separate windows for each table they began working on the HUD. So if you have HEM-2, eventually there'll be PKR HUD support. IMHO this is the only viable solution, nothing currently available (work around or not) for PKR is any good.

Heh, nice to know someone from so far away that is part Slovenian. How come your grandma migrated? I've sent you friend request just now, btw. So how did you like playing on PKR? I sense competition is pretty soft and I was already used to Pokerstars players - alot of them are actually quite good.
Yeah it's just like all other pokersites I guess. Small time players get bad RB deals, but what the hell, I don't intend to stay there forever I'll stick around on PKR, although it's not really comfortable for multitabling. I nearly burnt my eyes out trying to 'grid' multitable 9 Stt's. I've since put them in cascade so it's bit better now.
I've already spent enough time down here in the past - have about 200k hands on NL2 alone lol...
It would be nice if they added hud support for HEM2 but it's not mandatory, at least for these levels. For me, only thing that matters is handhistory so I can analyse & improve.
I've also sent some handhistories to HM2 support, hoping they'll find a way to fix that annoying bug. Check out my HEM2 thread if you have problems and see if maybe your solution lies there:

Sweet - I accepted the request. My G'ma left just from the war, think her and her family had a pretty rough time of it, It was still Yugoslavia at the time and civil war of course. She doesn't talk about it too much, but I guess the short of it was she wanted to get away.

Yeah - with RB basically PKR will offer you rakeback once you start raking $500+ per month, this is how I got on my deal, I signed for a NDB so no RB. Then later on I started playing/raking more and I got a deal after I raked >$500 for 3 months in a row. But the orginal deal I got was s**t: 0% RB if I raked under $500 10% RB for > $500 15% RB for >$1k 20% RB for >$2k
But then a bit further down the track I started raking >$2k a month and my VIP status was Platinum (I have a VIP manager there now) and I emailed him and managed to get a flat 30% deal, no matter how much I rake.
And yes, playing over 6 tables on PKR is pretty awkward.. It is better now they scrapped the stupid 'cards down' feature. But it still isn't great, 6 tables is fine, but 9 is really pushing it.
PKR 1.0 which is how I started on there, maxed out @ 4 tables.

Yeah - it supports the HH, which is why I bought HEM-2, just to use for analysis, but myself and a few other regs wrote to HEM-2 and explained that the tables are now windowed (optionally). Because the reason they never support PKR HUD was because all the tables were in the same window. But now you can separate them, HEM-2 have officially stated they've began work on a PKR HUD.. I've got the ticket number for the job somewhere in my emails..
Regarding PKR - I really love that site, it's easily my favourite site, I've made a ton of friends on there, I love that there's actually chat at the tables (beyond people just swearing and whining). The reason I left the site is purely because of the traffic, during standard time Aus is GMT+ 10hrs and currently with daylight savings we're actually GMT + 11hrs ! Which is just a nightmare for online poker.
Currently during most of Australian day time the traffic on pkr is around 900-1500 - pretty much can't get a SNG over $3 to run, and lucky to get more than 2-3 tables of cash > nl50.
So pretty much useless for grinding.. But hey - I made over $13K on PKR MTTs (scope unlocked) - and quite a bit more playing 6max cash nl100 and nl200
But I've moved to Stars now, I find I just don't have a choice due to the traffic for Australians at PKR.. I think I still have about $20 on PKR, so I'll play the odd MTT on there and see what happens..

Yeah I guess I get off way better being in Slovenia, during my playing hours the peak of traffic is at around 5000 so I have no problem finding games that I play.
