Viktor "Isildur1" Blom had an incredible start to 2013 and was over $5 million plus at Full Tilt Poker for some time, but, as many of you know, he has not been doing so well in the past few weeks. The truth is that he's losing hundreds of thousands of dollars almost every single session!
It will be interesting to see what he will do to reverse this negative trend. He's still 2013's biggest winner[...] Read more » Viktor Blom's 2013 (So Far)

Doing good still as it seems. I sometimes fail to see the difference between hyper-aggressive and aggro-donkey style but that's probably coz i suck at this game still....

I dont think Blom is caring alot about the money he wins or loose playing at fulltilt! Iam sure he is being very well pays to make this kind of donk pro fest!!! Even if he loses all money he will end the year wioning more than 10 millions from fulltilt!

I would have died several times on heart attacks with such swings.... nice promotion by full tilt anyways, must be fun to play along with gus or viktor as long as they are not on "I dont care" mode

I just think this guy is one of the most ridiculously wreckless players on the poker scene. I'm not knocking him nor do I dislike the guy, but it seems he's up and down with very little stability in his game playing.
Don't get me wrong about this either! I do wish I could do what he does without having a conscious about lossing it all without the ability to comeback out and be on top like he relentlessly does.
lukasb, Blom does fold, when he plays he plays very aggressively. It is this occasional fold, due to poor position and poor cards that differentiates between hyper-aggression and general donkey styles, sometimes hard to pick, although one is much easier to beat.

Passing from $5M to $1,7M in such a small period of time, it must be hard to look at these numbers. But he is no normal player we know, he's a big pro used to deal with big amounts of cash. After knowing he was on the $5M profit, i wrote he would be able to beat last year's record in the rank of the biggest profits, even counting with the One Drop winner. But loosing $3M in a couple of days may bounce him a little...

I dont know why this or any other site wishes to provide stats (re- blom ). If he is winning today and losing tomorrow surely in the poker world this is not news despite tje amounts being won or lost.

Good luck all BRMers on the tables see ya there.
But you can't be hyper aggressive at a tourney, or else things will get bad fast! I remember about a guy that tripled the initial chips in the begining and then he was always entering all-in, while every one else at the table was just with the initial chips. Things got really well for him and he even managed to eliminate some more guys and looking at his stack growing even more with some calls to his all-in that he won. But there was a point in which his opponents started getting high pairs, AK´s and stuff and he happened to loose almost all his stack. What happened next was that he wasn't able to control the game in order to try to go up again, or at least keeping stable. He didn't even got to the paid places....
blom is a high roller player....if he wins he wins big but if he lose he lose big also....his style is really good because he has so much money with his style...gl this year viktor
