It's just been announced that PokerStars' live card room inside London's Hippodrome casino will open on March 4. The project, which is currently under construction, will mark the online poker room's first brick-and-mortar venture. PokerStars' invested in the property back in October, 2012, and when the room finally opens it will host a series of 24 hour cash games as well as satellites to UKIPT and EPT events.

Take that, you sceptics who believe that poker is gambler's degenerate favourite and also game of criminals. Have heard so so many undermining words for this game and world. True that there are some scummbag lowlife junkies that shed a bad light on the whole community but it's a minority. I hope. I believe that poker is a game of honor, respect etc.. OK enough blabber, got carried away abit..

Oh dear , I was hoping that by staying into day I would not have any contact with self-opinated judgemental fascist people ,but I was wrong. What is the matter with you ,that you have to use such strong language as (low lifescumbag junkies). As a therapist working in the field of drug dependency I know that they are not all lowlife. Unlike some people that wear suits and are successful in life (Howard lederer for example) .

I wasn't referring to junkies per se. I was talking about gambling addicts (like the one who went and left his children in a car while gambling... etc) --< you can find it somewhere in the forum. What I meant was people that have no character and/or ethics whatsoever. And are therefore involved in schemas to steal people's money, endless credit takers that never give the money back etc.. Read Greenstein's Ace on the River, you will find it there, also.
And no, I'm not some self-opinated fascist I see word 'junkie' bothers you, but its just much easier to write than gambling addicts + we are talking about poker so I thought it would be self evident. Please be kind enough to re-read the post.

Well if only that had some truth to I could say I'll be there real soon to play, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen. I'm expecting some major changes in the way this U.S. so called government is looking at on line poker / gambling. If they see they can take more money from us they'll allow anything within the realm of reality.
