I actually assumed these were all different games, and had a response for each one.

Then I realise they were all the same game.

Honestly, not really much you COULD do. I'm actually quite suprised the big stacks weren't more actively stealing, given how short 2 of the people were.

From your standpoint though, you really didn't have many options, short of shoving when the other shorty was in the BB, but with 65o, and him with half his stack already in PLUS him hitting SB next hand, he's calling pretty damn wide(or at least SHOULD be). Given that, I don't know if I like shoving that spot and being crippled. On the opposite side, if we give him a walk, he has more chips and we're fucked next orbit, so unless the tables full of agro morons, this is the best spot we're going to get.

Making that call when you had most of your stack in was 100% correct, being if you DIDNT call, you're forced all-in the next hand. No way you can fold that spot and you should litterally call any 2 cards because taking a flip is better than blinding out.

That said, I'd say the only thing realistically you could have done different, is shove against the shorty in BB.

The reason I don't like shoving when we're in CO, is because we're facing the possibility of not just 1, but 2 different callers. Any of the other spots you listed, are no brainer folds.

I'm not folding that first K10 even though it's a hand I don't like. You are 3 blinds deep before the hand and you get K10 on the BB, folding is definetly a very passive move IMO... Most likely, if you call you're against a small pair or you have 2 live cards against an ace rag. You could even be ahead of hands like QJs Q10s K9s 910s 10js ect, but of course you could be dominated. At this point, a double up would have been very good for you, gets you up to about 5k chips, almost chip leader. Instead you chose to let the blinds/antes grind you out, and after that hand you were down to a stack that can barely scratch the big stacks...

It's never fun to call off your whole stack pre flop with a weak hand like K10, but sometimes you just can't fold. If you're not dominated, then it's the right call. And even if you are, it's not a bad call. That was basicly a HU pot and K10 is a pretty decent HU hand.

erru9107 balance 1615, lost 825 (folded) = ouch

Well sometimes there s nothing you can really do ....

You were aleady shortstacked (5 th position) so as you are aready in the 400/800 blinds you should have noticed whos playing very tight at your table and who is not.

So you had to try to steal the blinds from the tight players earlier..

In a DoN it s just your aim to keep your position (as long as your in the top 5)
So you try to steal blinds from time to time (and as you already played very tight (= only monsters)) your opponents who are playing tight will probably fold if you go allin.

Just watch out for the bigstacks who play aggressive--> only face them with monsters and do not try to steal their blinds.

1st hand - good fold, shorty is BB next hand and K10 isnt strong enough to call here given that fact
In any other format this would be a snapcall obv. but in this scenario it's better to wait this one more hand.

2nd hand pretty much whast retribution said,if there is no spewtard at your table then the 65 hand is probably the best spot we can get,we have pretty much no fold equity when anyone else is in BB,and if people have at least some sort of clue no one will go out of line, meaning in the least cases you'll win by just folding.
65 actually doesnt have too bad of equity against his any2 calling range and you'll be forced all in next orbit if nothing happens,so I rather get it in here than having to hope someone busts during the next few hands
I'm not sure if its mathematicly correct to get it in here,my guess is even that it isnt, but I prefer taking such spots over waiting & praying regardless of the format

Thanks guys! This input will help me analyze this game a little bit better. Maybe I'll find some other holes in my game as well, we'll have to wait and see Tongue

I guess i would have shoved with 86s here. A run of quite bad cards, but you had the position and the chipstack to make a move in that hand, before you were forced to play ATC in the big blind.
