The High Roller (buy-in €10,000+€300) kicked off yesterday with 71 players (plus 14 €10k rebuys). There were a lot of familiar faces in the field: Eugene Katchalov, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (picture), Michael Tureniec, Steve O'Dwyer, Kevin MacPhee etc. The first day came to an end during Level 9 (600/1200, ante 100) with Vladimir Troyanovski in front with 266,200 chips. After reading those names listed on the tourney, i though i would see Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Steve O'Dwyer in good positions, but seems that they have already gone out. Now there are only 61 players left and probably a third of them won't feel the taste of the prizes, which means there's still a lot to fight for before getting to the paid places.

why is the rebuy only half the buy in? anyone, but i must admitted iam also surprised not to see either Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier or Eugene Katchalov as some of the last players
