Hi mobsters, Easter is gonna be on March 31st this year, plenty of time still, but what i want see before i actually ask BRM to support this tourney financially is to see BRM members supporting tourney themselves. it will look a totally different thing to ask for brm financial backing when we actually make the tourney look more like a community desired event, then just a regular home game for pochui and a couple of forum regs...
So here's what i want everyone to do: if you support the tourney- gonna participate/ donate to the prize-pool/ rail the players/ just like the idea & back it: GIVE THUMBS UP FOR THIS POST the more +1's we're gonna get, imo the easier it will be to get the financial support from BRM for the tourney...
any ideas, thoughts are always welcome. let's keep this thread near the top until the end of this month & see what turns out...

I will be donating if I can. I have just over $5 on stars now after finishing 3rd in a 10c 240man PLO sng for $2 something Will be playing a few of these to try and get a bit of a bankroll going. Then I'll be donating whatever I can Good luck all

Don't have any money now on stars but maybe we can give you some mobpoints(500 points i wil give)and you cash it and put that in the easter freeroll????

good idea- maybe it will work, but it's still too early for the donations: i will open a new thread for the tourney on march 1st- then we will go for donations & maybe BRM support too...for now i just want to see community support for the idea itself....thanks for the offer, gl jakobusss

I think about it And to prevent it - please give me your PS ID (I forgot it, but I remember manpochui or something), so I transfer you first $1 of cash. If I lose whole roll, I don't donate more... but if I make nice profit - I'll trasfer more

so jesse when are you gonna play in a home game?
The reason I generally don't is because of my timezone. I'm currently GMT + 11hrs.. do the maths (and I'm often working weekdays) Sunday evening games inevitably run Monday morning for me and I work every Monday.. If a game is a Sat game I've got a much better chance of playing, since my Sundays are usually free.. But it still means either an all-nighter, otherwise waking up at like 3-4am or some silly time.

hey.. I did play the BRM HU championship.. Made it to the final round too.. we each one a round, then in the final round, we got allin (and I had him covered) and I had trips vs 2 pair and lost to a runner runner fullhouse, was pretty sick!

well if this is the case, then i'm pretty much sure we will host the game on saturday...around 8 pm gmt...that would be 7 am in the morning to you if i'm not mistaking...pretty doable huh?

Definitely doable. But I generally don't make requests as to the times of these things, because I don't want to feel committed, so certainly don't do anything in terms of dates/times to suit my schedule, because I'm not going to commit to playing.
