It's all about poker odds. 3 out of 10 times u'll loose with KK against A10 all in preflop. You just stumbled on the chance of those 3 this time. Better luck next time
nothing unusual to be sucked out by Ace x there are 5 chances for an ace to pop up on the board and invariably it does its sad but tru. DONT shove those kings allin make a standard raise (3bb 4bb) if reraised just call then heck the board play it carefully u know ur opponent has an Ace (something) hand so make sure you leave some stack just in case an ace pops out on the turn or river. its a hard fold but just get used to doing it and it will get easier

Well I know that crappy feeling all too well. Sorry you got sucked out on dude. Well at least you get in with the best hand but lost the race in the end. I suggest next time do not shove with any pocket pair not even aces. Make a 4 or 5 bet then see the flop, no Ace on flop then you odds just went up so if you really want to then you can shove the money in the pot. Good luck Ronin

that's usually good advice but sometimes in tournaments it actually makes sense to shove when your short stacked. Especially if everyone has folded in front of you.

im all up for shoving 2 kings anyday, if you loose your just unlucky. get value while your ahead. and make people fold them weak aces.
