Pokerstars took my FPP  0
Damn. I entered Pokerstars to join the Easter games. I check my VIP status and BOOM:
no more FPP's, saldo of 0. Ididn't have a lot, something like 1200 +/-.
But with those points you can do a lot. For example exchange for sattelite tournaments.
I think it's because I didn't play for a while there, but I couldn't because of the law in Belgium.
I'll send them a mail and see what they'll respond.

Probably some kind of error.
If it was something bigger they would have banned your whole account.
Having a screenshot from time to time with your data in all the sites you play helps
sometimes.

How long break did you have?
I might be wrong with this, but I think they reset the FPPs in the end of a year if you did not earn any points during that year.

e: not sure if it was VPPs that reset ... never been playing on stars so much that the points really matter to me...

I don't think they reset your fpp's at the end of the year it's the vpp's they reset.

Nope. If you dont earn any points during the year they take the lot away from you! What a scam that is. Why on earth shoukld they take them away once you have earned them. Its a bit like a bank giving you interest on your savings and then taking it away from you if you dont save any extra the next year. We wouldnt accept that...why should we accept this?

I totally agree with you. I thought it was something like that. I searched the Pokerstars site and their rule is that if you don't play one calender year than all your points are lost.
Don't think it is fair but I still like to play on Pokerstars because they have so much to offer.
In my case I haven't played for 1 year because I couldn't, not because I didn't want to. I am still waiting for their mail, they are now checking my situation.

Ill inform you guys with their response. G'night!

G'day mate

It is not a mistake. I received a email from pokerstars in the early part of December to inform me that I was in danger of losing all my Fpp points due to account in activity. However it was because I had been living in the USA for almost 2 years and when Black Friday screwed me over i was no longer able to play online poker. What I had to do was play some game before the December 31st deadline in order to reactivate my account and save all my fpp's.
You might not be able to get the lost Fpp's back. I bet you did not see the email because it might have gone into your spam folder, if you do not look in your spam folder once in a while then you might miss alot of real emails.

well in a way this rule is not fair to the players- technically you already earned it, so taking the points away from your account= stealing money from your account (since points do have a real value), however you do agree with t's & c's when joining stars, and as long as they cover this issue i guess it's ok...

It’s probably because of not going there in a long time that you have lost your FPP’s, but you were probably advised by email from them…. You should save the poker emails you get, I always do, even if it’s just promos, because, even if I can’t pay that much attention when I first get them, I may be interested when the weekend arrives, so I only delete them after I have a chance to be in front of my Poker Playable PC!

You could probably get them back, even if it's against their T&Cs,stars is a very supportive site towards their players,so I wouldnt be surprised if you'd get them back even if they basicly have the right to keep them

I know that party poker do this....your Points expires in Party poker...I have some points earned in Party poker and if you cant your ir for some time...say 2 weeks then it all gone...also i have some little freeroll winnings that also expires....

I've received the mail from Pokerstars in which they basically told me that FPPs (Frequent Player Points) expire after a year of not playing a real money hand. Normally they don't give it back.
Considering my situation, that I wasn't able to play, they will manually add the lost FPPs into my account as soon as I deposit after I'll be 21 and afterwards earn 1 FPP.
Olé Pokerstars!
G'night folks. Smile

Yeah, I myself lost a lot of FPP there too, something around 2000 if I remember correctly. E-mailed support, and got told that they DO indeed reset them if you haven't raked in XX number of months. I agree it's total b******t, but what can we do, it's in their TOS they can do whatever they want.

Party Poker also pulled the same thing on me, but I only had a couple hundred points so I didn't care that much. Still, I think it's a scumbag tactic, but the easy way around it is to just log in before they expire, play a few hands, and then log off. That or just spend them.
