What sort of games or tourneys must you play in on PokerStars to get a chance at some cash? It seems tourneys like The Big $11 or Hubble freerolls won't do it.

In the Road to 100 Billion you have to play ring games...its as simple as that.
If you can, play multiple hands and get in early on the actual day of the 95th is coming and ultimately the 100 billionth hand so that you can get a seat.

let me modify that 'Me dumb' thing.... "Me dumb as a POST" ...lol... I'm just not up on all the Poker terminology... I have NO clue what a ring game is....
In the PS lobby click on the HOLDEM or OMAHA tab. Pick a table with an empty seat, then choose a BI. U'll be seated at the table and can play for real money. U'll be prompted by pop ups to choose and/or input ur BI. It's that simple...GL at the tbls.

Can I Buy In for ANY amount,...whether it be $1, $3,...$10....?
Then just sit and play until you knock buddy out and take all his cash?

dawg, i recommend you play fifty-fifty I think you will love it. You have to stay in the game, first 5 players will be paid. Sit and Go, one table and here we go. Choose your buy-in, and start play.. You can start with minimum, 1,50$, see if you like it.

I'm playing alot more ring games than mtts lately. Kinda grown on me the "passivness" of the play u get there, not worrying when/if some donk will jump all-in at you every time you make a move ( to be honest it also happens there but less frequently for sure and if it really pisses you u can always move to another table). Still the action is somewhat too slow sometimes between hands and the zoom alternative is too much of a donkfest so to spice things up i started playing a mtt or two at the same time also. While i focus in stack size, blind levels etc on the mtt, it takes the urge away from playing to many medium hands on a ring game when ur running card dead for 20 minutes. Not saying its a perfect system but it saved me from donking a few bucks down the drain out of boredom that for sure.
Fifty-fifties it's just not for me. Coz of its different cash reward system depending on ur stack ur always on the pressure to act. Double or nothings are easier to deal with but the extended luck factor ( specially when ur running out of it) takes the fun of playing them imo.

I too have been playing alot more ring games I love the fack that since i have stop playing as many tournaments my poker stats have total drop off on three trackers. All 3 list me as a complete fish and a donk.
I love it! Now when people look me up they think I know nothing and they do NOT think I am any threat to be taken seriously
