The main event of World Poker Tour Baden is down to 44 players after 2 days of play. German poker pro Bodo Sbrzesny, who finished third in WPT Prague a few months ago, leads the remaining squad of players into Day 3 with 403,000 chips (20k more than his fellow countryman Vishal Pundjabi).

Blinds are getting higher and things look tight in the top of the rank, and there are still 17 players who will go home with no reason to laugh about this tourney, as it will only pay to 27. Rettenmaier being mid rank can be a nice promise, I always like that position so I’m not the main target to eliminate, but that’s when looking to the overall field. Marvin Rettenmaier went into the final table looking to make history, by winning three WPT titles in less than a year. Kimmo Kurko prevented that particular party from happening, when he eliminated Rettenmaier in 5th place for $59,496. Kurko himself was next to fall, paving the way for long-time chip leader Vladimir Bozinovic of Serbia to cruise to victory. Bozinovic is not particularly well known outside of Serbia, where he has already found some success. However with his $271,258 victory in Baden, he is now a member of the WPT Champion's club. 1 st Vladimir Bozinovic $271,258 2nd Paul Berende $172,695 3rd Oswin Ziegelbecker $111,587 4th Kimmo Kurko $81,034 5th Marvin Rettenmaier $59,496 6th Grzegorz Wyraz $47,820
