Unlucky mate. You did well and had him covered till that nasty river. Maybe shoving in the turn after he raised you would save you but then again when he had less than a euro left he might had just called anyway.

U'll get him next time Thumbs Up

Sad and ugly, but it seems to be the thing for a lot of players chase, chase and chase some more then, reward for playing like this. I'm sorry about being a bit pessimistic about the hand as I see you take it well, but it's starting to get really ugly at the lower stakes level. You don't know what to expect.

typical example of a player that s pays to much for a gutshot.... str draw

and to bad for you he hits it on the river.....

and like lukasb said, if you reraised him after the turn he probably would also have called it...

So just bad luck... better luck in the future

Mobsters thanks for the cheer-up! Big Smile
I don't know if he would call all in if I pushed, maybe I had too, but I wanted to take some more money from him. I deliberately waited 4 seconds before I called so that he will think I am weak and pushes. Eventually he got his hand Sad
It's just small stakes but I hate loosing, even small money.

Better luck for us next time! Thumbs Up

You played the hand really good if you ask me, still i would have go all in on the turn if i were you especially on this limit.

Yeah, maybe the things would have be the same but maybe with some extra pressure he might have folded the hand there.
