I have posted before about is AA the correct fold in certain games but when it comes to league games when your trying to get a good position to win the big money you have not got a chance. Hand after hand donkey shove so wether you call with a good hand your getting beat 9 times out of 10 and if you fold hand after hand your blinding yourself out so still no chance of getting any decent points.
PStars open skill league is no skill at all and the BRM league same again no skill and you might as well buy a lottery ticket.
Anyone agree cos i am wondering what the point is of these leagues as you cant sort the wheat from the chaff as the better online poker players are not doing anything wrong just constantly getting bad beats from donkey shoves and calls

It seems no skill because you're playing against many first timers who stil don't have a clue on how to play certain hands, but it's definitely a big challenge, that's why it's not easy to win those, just like a freeroll. A look at both the same way, although many don't agree with me. If we go to a game knowing the way everyone plays, that's easier than entering some action in which every single player may have different attitude towards each hand.

In such games any high pair is a good hand and not only. You cant really say that you can play a game which fits your "rules" of play. With so many players and anyone playing whatever, there isnt much you can do about it, than follow most of the times.
5 limpers im sat with AA i shove 2 callers 1 with 22k stack 1 with 12k stack board 7s 4d 9h turn kc river 3c 22k stack turns over k9 off 12k stack turns over 56
like i said skill is POINTLESS cos when your getting called 7.5k by raggy hands and losing time and again you have got no chance

every tourney has some differences.Poker premier skill league doesn't mean that there are only skilled players. When I played this tourney for the first time I got 2nd place. Then I played it few times later and never won...maybe luck plays a huge role in poker.
I can't remember how many time I lost with AA...it's a curse

Wayniac, I agree with you that the Pokerstars open skill league has nearly nothing to do with skill. I only played in this one month ago to get a ticket for the Premier league, which I got. Playing in the Premier League is much more of playing with skilled players indeed.
