My unexpected FullTilt Succes Story  0
Hiyya all BRM fellows! I played a tourney two days ago on FullTilt with a pool of 200 tickets of 10 bucks.
First timer in this kind of clashes i was down & upset when i noticed there are 29.000 players enrolled in a strange torunament: the starting stack is 300 chips with blinds increasing wildly.
I folded the first hands and called some with AA, AK, JJ and my stack grew enough to stay alive. There were many beginners and a lot of donks who haven't got a clue of the superturbo low stacks type of game: you just have to stand at average with your chips all the time. I mean many of them were quite comfortable, let's say 25k when average is 13k and still entered the board with a JQoff or 66 or 910 suited, but all they achieved was slowly loosing their stack. So, many dumbs fell off at the point when we were apr. 700 players, i kept folding everything and pushing monsters, but all time long tried to clash only with players having half or less of my chips. Tried all my best not to expose myself to stupid risks and finally finished in prize after 3 hours of continously strong playing style. I took a deserved cigarette pause and a thought about what's next. This $10 ticket needs to be played out, gotta gather 250 FPPs in order to do it, but there is a good side of it: all the money which exceeds the initial value of the ticket is immediately available in your account. I choosed PL Omaha 0,5/0,10 6-handed, and God what a cool decision i took ! Smile FullTilt used to be a veritable poker site, with many skilled people at the tables, but since americans are off the race plus the newbies attracted by the re-launching promotions and free moneys seems that FTP became a fish paradise. I start playing Omaha, Rush and Happy hours help me to gather points quickly as after 1 hour i got $30 and opened 2 more tables to open 2 more one hour later. Anyway: 70% fishies, Omaha first timer low limit donkeys as opponents built my stack to a peaceful $ 175 when i said it's time to sleep. Meanwhile reached the necessary 250 FTPs to release the ticket too, in fact 1424 points Smile Second day ( yesterday ) i splitted the money: some transferred to Stars, $100 cash-out request and Omaha 0,5/0,10 at 2 tables again spiced with $5 Omaha HU SnG's to make it a better experience. Around 9 hours of playing, over 1500 FTP's and again over $100 profit, closing balance of the day $ 156. Today off because of work, will play again tomorrow. The title says Unexpected and you know why? I started poker some 4 yrs. ago, being an average player all this years with a total of $700 profit after more than 300.000 hands! Now when i returned to poker and FTP i was deeply amazed by this absolutely week field and promised myself to spend more time there when available and hopefully continue cashing in the free money gifted by these donkeys Smile
Keep in touch and wish you luck BRM brothers!

You'll get surprized when all this case gets uncovered: many producers are doing it around UK and all major EU countries, your fellow british farmers are no exception at alll Greatings from the land of Dracula Smile

The English can cook, I saw it on BBC, as follows.

Take one Romanian horse, sell it to a French holding company, process the flesh alongside 85% beef, make it into lasagne and meat ball, package into ready to eat trays, partially cook, sell to the English, microwave for two minutes.

ps well done Helen, keep it up.

Bon appetit again dear gmgm! That lasagna wasn't enough, you keep going to MC Ds also? Oh my God, UK is turning into US or what the heck? I spent there two summers as a student and could not find consumable food in the great state of New Fcking York, else that suspicious burgers, burritos made of rotten secondary meats and frozen s**t in supermarkets and now it seems that UK is the same...Ohhh,ohhhh.... Tongue

Nice one Heleevelin. It is good news to hear that you are doing well. I wish you every success in the future.

I wonder if you will be tempted to have a go at the forthcoming FTOPS events? I will be having a go at one or two of the events - the lower buy-in events - hope to see you there.

GL to all mobsters................... Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

P.s I wouldn't worry about the horse meat comments - I have eaten Horse while I was living in both Italy and France and found it nice. I remember paying quite a lot of money for it in Sardinia, and it tasted good.

So stuff em I say.............haha

Grats to you, very well done. Seems like you are doing great in these games on FT, especially Omaha. I guess I have to learn much more about Omaha and try to build my knowledge.
I think Omaha games are fishier than Holdem nowadays.

Still dont understand what the world has for a problem conceirning horse meat...... we consume it already for years and still dont give light in the dark...... Think its pretty tastefull actually as long as the sadle aint on my plate I will eat...

And Helenevelin, hope U keep doing well on FT.....I gave up on Ft as the idiots seem to have some sort of incredibel luck against me, lower pairs always seem to make a set, flush or straight against me, so no more deposits to sponsor the russian cowboys Sad

What a nice experience you’re living with the re-launch of FTP. I also can’t complain that much, although last weekend things gone wrong on the rush tables. I already know I have difficulties in quiting at the right time, and I keep repeating it to myself, but looks like an addiction, to keep doing the same mistake. Crazy mouse in my head always goes for the cheese again even knowing there’s a trap there…

helen, 700 dollars profit is pretty good, especially if poker is not your main job.
Of course you want to earn much more, but with that bankroll (and what you won by the tournaments on FTP) you can go to higher stakes in reference to your bankroll and win some more Dollar.
May the fishes stay fishes. So the good players can get bait Blink
Good luck.

Weenie: the daily edge RGT is taking place every day at 21.00 Slovakia time. You must be Bronze or higher level FTP player to participe in it and there is a 25 point entry fee. Yesterday we started 900 people, finished again in 86th: 5$ cash game ticket!
Rafiko1: well 700 dollars might seem something, but in 300.000 hands it is not much. Better than losing 700, yet needs improvement Smile Especially if i compar myself to one of my mates who earns 700 bucks usually out of every 7500 played hands, that would mean $28k! Smile
