The GUKPT's £1,000+£75 London event kicked off with a number of notable faces amongst the 173 players on display.Indeed, with 55 players already registered for second starting session, the £200,000 guarantee had already been broken
Day 1B kicked off and gave those who were eliminated a chance to test their skills against a fresh batch of hopefuls.

Day 1B of GUKPT London attracted more than 200 runners putting up the necessary £1,000+£70 buy-in.
After some quick calculations a final figure of 397 players meant the £200,000 guarantee was almost doubled, meaning tomorrow's winner will receive £103,000.
Closing out the day atop of the chips counts with 149,775, and leading Day 2's 158 survivors, was Rhys Jones.
A total of 38 players will make a profit before a winner is crowned
