Hey guys,.... just to compliment rafiko's thread about your 'best' hand,.... I thought I'd start THIS thread about your 'worst' hand...
For me it's quite simply Jacks,.... Jacks have caused me SO many nightmares I can't count them,.... and it's not only the hands I've PLAYED with pocket jacks,.... It's also the hands that I've FOLDED jacks on....
If I play them,..... I will lose,....If I fold them,....they'd have been the nutzzzzzzzzz.....!
...even if I have say Ace Jack in hand, and a Jack comes on the flop for a pair....... DISASTER!!!
That's not to say that happens EVERY time,..... but it sure seems to happen MOST of the time....
So now I just RUN from Jacks... Maybe that's why someone created the phrase: Tricky Jacks

QQ is the hand I'm most fearful of and have probably been led astray many times, moretimes then they done me good. I don't know why the ladies are so unkind to me uless its because their jealous of my 34 year old beatiful wife. lol I wish I could just count on them, but unless I have a pair and hit another on the flop they don't provide much confidence.

Back in the day i only play no limit holdem i always hated to play KK, simply because a lot of donks called me no matter what with Ax and on the river they always seemed to hit the A.
On PLO KK are supported by other 2 cards and they are a lot stronger than on holdem.

my nightmare hand are AA When I get them I am so self confident that I will win this hand,but it is not like that.I make raise 3BB on pre-flop,and 2-3 players calls.Then I try to put 3/4 of a bank or go all in,and somehow one of those players have 2 weak pairs...it is going on so often that I just can't believe it

Everything exactly like you wrote demodawggy but with queens instead of jacks. I have QQ and surely enough i run against a ace rag flopping two pairs... i fold Q10 and the flop comes KJ9 lol
Depends on the day thou... sometimes it goes just like so, you always lose playing them or not but there's also times when i keep hitting them like i have a magnet with the ladies

KK on the zoom tables is a nightmare for me because you know for a fact that if you get any action its from someone holding AA. Even tho you know the guy has AA you still can't fold so you can kiss goodbye to that buy in, lol! Unless you run into a guy from Croatia willing to stack off with AK os that is

I hate KK too... and I hate AK too... I also hate Ax cards when x= K, Q, J, T... because I've lose in 90% times to hands like TT, 77, 55...
I don't know if I posted on opposite post, but for me - the best hand is QK I've recently won over 80% hands with these cards...

JJ and QQ do it for me........ I can pretty much guarantee that whenever I get them (well, morre than 75% of the time) that someone comes over and beats me with either Ax or any other cards that hits lucky on the flop....that regardless of how I play, whetehr slow, or really aggressively and someone makes a ridiculous call.
JJ and AQ. They are both just good enough to get you into serious trouble. The only cards likely to give them action have them dominated or draw well against them. When you win it's usually a small pot but when they lose it's usually a large pot.

Well my worst hand so far is KK. I have lost most of the all ins preflop with it. Even the slow play doesnt work with them. And the funny thing is im winning more with QQ and JJ preflop

My nigthmare hand is JJ too (I also posted a thread before with a hand that I loose with them on a bad beat) I find hands like 10 10 and JJ very tricky to play. Example is if u raise with them preflop and flop comes Kd 5c 9c and u raise ur hand on the flop with one caller. If he calles you - you can't be sure if he has a flush draw or a K on hand.

Both small pairs and big pairs have well established strategies that are good for most situations. However midsized pairs cam sometimes be played similar to big pairs and sometimes similar to small pairs. If you make the wrong choice it cn cost you your entire stack or at minimum seriously damage your stack. This is where hand reading skills really become paramount.

I completely agree with you when you say that Jacks are one of the most difficult hands to play in the world of poker. Furthermore I feel its the same situation for me when it comes to me folding...I have the nuts....if I raise...the donk has A3 and hits the ACE ILU!

Hi all , JJ or any Jx is my worst nightmare don't like it and when a play JJ it a lost most of the time like 90%.Never win a big pot with it. Ladies are another one even if I got one in the flop.

My worst hands are JJ and KJ , i'm avoiding those hands as much as i can ... Every time when i go with JJ i loose , and every time when i don't go with JJ i could win ... and ALOT, like double / triple my stack and more. 1010 i think it's like 60/40% win/lose. Anyway ... in most of the tournaments be aware of me if we go showdown cause in most of thetournaments i'm with 60%+ / 80%+ , hands won. the others ( pre-flop, flop, turn ) under 10% )

I can't really say which is my worst hand but it depends on situation where any kind of hands can be the worst so i'm not like: I'm not playing with hand of jacks or queens. I think there can only be your best hand because you can play with 10,2 and still get a full house. Playing with KJ, nahhh this is not my worst hand, i've just played it wrong and that's why i now think it's a bed hand. Can't go that way

Sounds like a whole lotta folks are havin' some BAD dreams too.... lol...
So I'm playing in this ZOOM beta test freeroll thingy at 10:00am Eastern (3:00pm gmt),....and just KILLIN' it.... Hand after hand......win win win.....
Being 4 minute blinds,...I'm thinking let them knock each other out... at the rate of about 600 - 700 per minute,...it won't be long before I'm in the cash....
I'm sitting on $15,000 in chips and everything was going according to plan.....UNTIL...... just this side of the money,...I get a pair of Jacks.... so I just bet the amount of the big blind,....some fold,...some call....
Flop comes down K J 10..... I have trips.... So I double the bet.... a few call,....then Betty BigStack shoves,.... Since their all playing like clowns,....and it's a turbo,.... I call.....in goes my entire stack....
....need I say more...?
My general instict is to just let it go being THAT close to the money,...but the money only started at .05c,...no big deal... I figured if I won I could stand a chance at going DEEP,...and making a few bucks. Decent money...
Even though it's ONLY .05c....Still,...I HATE losing...
...Oh well,....On a lighter note....: I'm playing the Big $8.80.... some dummy to my right keeps raising pre-flop,...then folding.... THAT really irritates me,....especially after my loss with JJJ...
So I'm playing away,....and come into a heads up with some guy who looks like Borat in his pic...right beside me...
...long story short: I wind up with AA,...he winds up with AA/99...two pair for him... He takes half my stack.... I'm BUMMED.... almost right off the bat,....I'm going down...
Well,....about 10 hands later, I'm seeing Borat is playing fairly loose,... and wind up in another heads up with him....
This time with some Aces invloved again,.... but THIS time I exact my revenge and took back my chips with a tidy little profit too.... 3500+ chips...
Those JJJs are soon becoming a distant memory,....and one more hand like that with Borat,...and he can go back to shaving Kazakh vagine for pubis to make pillows out of.... LOL!!!

AQ doesn't matter its suited or ofsuit,i never get a pair,or flush,straight,and A7 always bet me when i have AQ,even when someone put all in 3 blind's with J4 i loose with AQ

NIGHTMARE HANDS FOR ME AQ and AK
The amount of times i shove with them and cant beat a small pair or have medium to big pair and come up against them and get beat is unreal....I seem to honestly win only 1 in 8 hands with either of these 2 hands or going against them..
The thing that irks me is when you got say 10 10 JJ and someone raises with AQ AK and you just flat 8 high board they cbet you shove they call then get uber lucky... calling all in with a high and hitting 8 times out of 10 yet if i were to make the same move i would get stuffed
I've recently won over 80% hands with these cards...
