Have been on youtube today watching some old poker videos and going thru bad beat ones PHIL HELLMUTH came up ranting quite a lot. Watching him reminded me of myself as when i get a bad beat by a donk call im typing away as well as slagging off my computer as though it was the player..
Which Poker pro are you????? Just curious as to who you liken yourself too.

Doyle Brunson, I just sit there and play the game. If I got something I can work with I play and if not I fold. I really don't know if I'm like him, but I enjoy the old timers who just sit there with their hard cold look.

i don't really know if there are any pro's like me,or i should say play like me,as i never know what i'n going to do next i would like to play like David Peat or Viffer to most,as i think he's a bit of a madman.

I'm not like any pro. That's why I'm not a pro myself But if there is a pro out there that plays good one minute then totally fishy the next then that would be me Good luck on the felts all

No what pro do you compare yourself too. We all want to be like negreanu, dwan, ivey, hansen but also we would like their bankrolls. Im talking about personality, traits etc. Thats why i say im like the spawn of hellmuth cos i explode every time i get donked on and lets face if cos of hellmuths mouth he gets more bad beats cos people want to take him down so bad.
You might feel you got the stone face of dwan or crazyness of laak maybe the stupidity and arrogance of tony g. Just saying of all the pros we constantly see or read about there must be someone that you think geez yeah thats just like me

lol. i knew what you meant I change all the time so it's hard for me to say who i'm like. One day i can be really calm, play a good game and if i get bad beats it doesn't bother me. i can just shrug them off. but other days the slightest bad play by an opponent sends me loopy and i play on tilt until I've got over it or until i quit

I’ve never thought about that, I think I still miss a lot to try to compare myself to any of those big poker figures we are always hearing about. But, thinking about his style and craziness, I think I’m a bit looked like Tony G when on the tables (at the garage, not when I’m in front of the PC), sometimes trying to distract my opponents, guessing their hands and making them taking faster decisions so that things don’t run that well for them when playing against me.

I always liked Daniel Negraneau's style of play,....but unfortunately I too am a lot like Helmuth in a way....
...particularly when it comes to the donks...
I heard him in an interview a few years ago talking about how he likes to trap those who think they are in the process of trapping him... Kind of like a counter-trap thing...
He just lays out little pieces of cheese in a little row,...and let's the mouse unwittingly follow them all the way to his little trap,....then.....BAM!!! The trapper gets trapped... lol...
I just LOVE doing that to aggressive players who are always dumping out big bets trying to push people off pots...and ESPECIALLY anyone with the word 'Pro' in their username. One or two of those,...and you suddenly notice a HUGE difference in their play

Well my favorite players is Daniel but I play most like Doyle Brunson, I play the game. If I got something I can work with I play and if not I fold. I am an old timer myself and I was taught poker ettiquette was too play with a cold hard look giving no tells away. best of luck.

Iam lçike Isildur when he is having downswings, if iam in the right mood its possible to destroy all my bankroll! My problem is that i cant have any upswing like Isildur, unfortunately!
