5 is mine lol and there is a few reasons for that firstly my immediate family consisted of five members (mom,dad, me and my younger bro and sis if ya were interested lol) but also just cause its pretty well the only number that I'd consider a lucky one for me. I've hit the pay out betting 5 red more times then i can remember and most certainly the most for numbers ive tried. one time i was at casino NS and had been running like crap all night and down to my last 5 bucks put said fiver down in a nice neat pile of ones on 5 red BAM! back to starting amount of the night. would love to here peoples fav number stories.
also might as well throw in the ol' standard fav hand if ya want mine being either a "no-brainer" or 8-9s (no brainer being any hand i can easily pre flop fold with out a second glance ) and well i was born in 89 i like the mid suited connectors and my name on stars has 98 in it (funny enough that is actually a typo which was suppose to be 89 DERP! )
------------ cory damn it~! i can not beleive i just threw away the spark and i had a nice chunk invested in it to f**k omg like i kinda just needed to vent somewhere so i didnt put a whole threw the wall with my head 200 times in a row and then jump out the window i been grinding hard to get far in the sunday spark spent some rebuys and the add on all to risk it on f**king 98 suited in the worst timed shove f**king ever uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggh sometimes i want to kick my self in the balls.

Very frustrating to play for a few hours and then make a bad move, get tossed out and have nothing to show for your time. Not saying this to piss you off or anything, but you were posting here and playing this tourney at the same time. Personally when I start surfing or posting here while playing it tells me that my focus is off and I need to do something quick to change that. Since I don't play MTT I will then start closing my cash tables or finish off the SNG I am playing and then take a break. For MTT maybe grab a quick snack or coffee, get up from your chair or something like that. Other BRM members will have other tips. Better luck next time.

ya definitely a sign of losing focus. i was lucky to get as far as i did how dead i was card wise i believe the whole tournament i played maybe a dozen hands. and that was like all that was close to play able lmfao. ty for the tip its a good one to keep in mind like after i felted myself there no one else did just me lol that was 100% avoidable i did my usual jump into something small but just shipped earlish in the 2cent to see if id double or not was a dec shipping hand for that sng but ya donked off that two cents in steaming i guess lol then went to youtube... found these movies coming out i can not wait for! I know when I start losing my focus and find myself doing things like searching for music, reading / replying in BRM, etc. I always seem to lose track of hands, players and of course the cards themself. That's when she shutdown and I'll go do something else. If not, I'll start losing constantly. It took a while to recognize this, but it's very true. And, I just proved it to myself! Damn!
Now THAT is GD Funny..... I'd like to see THAT.... Not that I want to see you hurt yourself,....just that it would be a rather difficult thing to do....
