Taking place inside Melbourne's Crown Casino, the WSOP APAC has scheduled a number of events between April 4 and 15.
Alongside the $10,000 Main Event, three other tournaments will be broadcast on TV later in the year, including the Caesars Cup.
The heads-up exhibition will feature pros representing Europe, the US and, for the first time, the Asia-Pacific region.
Ahead of the Ryder Cup-style event, that WSOP has announced the three pros who will lead their regions into battle: Sam Trickett (Europe), Phil Ivey (the US) and Joe Hachem (Asia-Pacific).
