I was just looking in the lobby on Full Tilt Poker and the FTOPS main event, which has a $600+$40 buyin and currently has just under 1800 entrants has a guaranteed prizepool of $2,000,000. I used a calculator to add up the total from all buyins and its only $1,147,520. That's a loss of over $850,000!!!. holy smokes, it must be a bad day at the Full Tilt headquarters. lol
On the other hand, if you can still get in it (late registration is closing soon) then you may be able to win a huge prize.
FYI.
UPDATE: sorry late registration will be open awhile longer. get it while u can, if u can.

hi, i think somehow you missed the part that it's a RE-ENTRY tourney my friend (with max Entries=5), and it's got 4 hours of registration. You start with 7500 chips and 45 minutes later the average chips are 7680, which basically means that there's no difference, the tourney structure is very slow, and there are going to be a lot more registrations until closing time! i don't know if the 2 million prize will be covered, but i think it's going to be very close with many players losing and re-entering.. we'll just wait & see
true. i've never played a re-entry tourney so i'm not sure how it works. its an hour later almost and theres 2103 entries for a grand total of $1,348,480 Two more hours of late registration also. I'd be shocked if they crack $2,000,000 to be honest, i see it being more like $1,750,000

lol you are really worry about FT that they are losing money? btw you still didnt count re-entries in that tourney. If someone used re-entry it means that he paid next buy-in but number of players is same... And if there are 5 re-entries possible I think they are way over 2,000,000
ILI_002, to clarify FT is still the 2nd best ONLINE poker room.
The White House a ahem.. Gentleman's Club in New Zealand where the dealer always starts with a pair ( o) (o), this can lead to a straight and sometimes a bit of a flush, try to go during the week tho as during the weekend it is often a full house.

Hi Btownd87,
The poker sites never lose. They always win a lot of money. Do you know that per year how many billions they win? A lot of billions of $. The world is in crysis, but the online poker and casinos are never in crysis.
This tournament has a lot of re entries. Also the biggest tournaments have 2 hours late registration, hundreds, thousands of rebuys.
Do you know who are the owners of PokerStars? The Jewish family of Isai Scheinberg. Do you know who are the owners of Titan Poker? Also Jews. You know that the Jews are the richest people in the world.
So, don't worry about the poker sites losses. They have billions of winning. I am telleng you this because I know it for sure. I worked for the online poker industry few years ago.
Here you can see the photo of the owner of PokerStars. Good luck at the tables! And think about your success!

Yeah, Fulltilt needs to get the U.S. players back on the site to bring it back up to where it was prior to the scandal. After understanding the full story I think there wouldn't have been such a big deal if it wasn't for Lederer being such a snake, but it is what it is.

Just miss playing on the site!
G'day Green
I am really confused here mate. Don't you actually like snakes? Perhaps I have confused you with another mobster but I would think by your avatar that I have the right member. If Lederer is a snake should you not like him a little more?
I know I am being an arse just trying to have a little fun mate. Be cool and best of luck to you.
