Check this for more details: http://www.fulltiltpoker.eu/promotions/take-2 FTP has proven once again that they have the best by far promotions of all the poker rooms. The only site that's actually giving away money with their promotions and not just a lousy 25% or so of the rake you'll have to pay in order to take advantage of the other site's "promotions".
Sounds great... Up to now I'm just playing one table 6-max, but I suppose I could add another one without losing my edge...
Does anyone know what "Play two standard ring game tables at the same time " means?
I.e. what constitutes a "standard ring game"; do they mean any ring game other than rush, or are tables with cap, shortstack, deepstack and 6-max excluded?
Anyway, it sounds like an easy $25, only requiring 5 points per day for 9 out of 10 days...

Thanks for the information on this. I already saw it in the FT lobby and will for sure take part in this. Don´t forget to register for it on the My promotions page ! @ Marqis: I guess they are just separating between Rush table and other ring game tables. For sure a 6-handed table is eligable for this.

This seems a very nice promo, I just have to guarantee I will have time to play at least 5 of my regular sessions to make this extra $5. I’m used to do 2 hour sessions in which I’m getting about 25 to 50 points. In the levels I’m used to play, I won’t be needing that much time to do those daily 5 points. I just need to have time to play the session daily. About the extra $20, it will be even more difficult for me. If I can’t know if I’ll be able to play 5 days between April 5 and April 14, how can I know if I will make it in 9 out of 10 of the days? It would be nice, and seems something to put an eye on. There’s no such thing like easy money, but this doesn’t seem that difficult. GL
So what's the catch with this promotion? It sounds too good to be true...
The way I figure it, to release the $25, you need to just get 5 points per day while multitabling on 9 of the 10 promotion days. So you need a minimum of 45 FTPs total, generating $4,50 in rake for full tilt...
How do they afford spending $25, and only making $4,50 in return...?
What am I missing here...?
I thought the $25 ring game ticket I got for pairing my pokerstars account was good, but at least that took $50 worth of rake to release its full value...

It's not 5 points, but, 5 bonus points per day and for every $1 in rake 10 points are awarded to that table and are divided proportionally. It's all there on the promo page...read it all last nite. seems thy're trying to get their numbers up and making this promo achievable.

I didn't realize that... I know about the bonus points; but as long as you play 2 or more tables the you get bonus points at the same rate as regular points.
I previously thought that in clearing my $20 ring game ticket for 500 FTPs, the site earned $50 of that; what I did not realize is that other people at my tables also collected points, so assuming there's an average of two players in the pot; the site would have earned over twice that amount...
Is that correct rbdflyboy?
Posted by demodawggy: What is the minimum buy in for a ring game over there,...? I'm thinking it's $2, but I could very well be wrong.
If you play 2 ring games simultaneously for a total of $4,...how many bonus points would that get you?
I know that the lowest buyin on the short stack 6 max tables NL2 is $0.40 (20BB). I play them a lot but always buy in for the maximum $0.80
Like rbdflyboy said, for every $1 in rake 10 points are awarded to that table and are divided proportionally.

that seems to be really nice promotion. I already wrote it here, that fultilt has just the best promotions so far
Even if you will play during happy hour, you will get even more points! double for take2 promotion on 2 tables PLUS doubled points because of happy hour. So you can get 4 times more points like normal
I have some uncleared bonuses there and also I want to reach at least bronze status again and spend my FT points so this promotion can help me a lot

G'day mates
Well it is a good promotion to try and get players used to playing on the site daily and multi tabling at the same time. For people like me who are used to multi table it will be a truly easy feat to clear that $25 promo so it is just free money We gotta love that mate.

Wow, that is really great. I didn't know about this promotion. Thank you very much, mate. I love Full Tillt Poker, it is my favourite poker site, actually. I like it more than PokerStars. Too many players at PokerStars.

I remember playing that promotion the last time they were online before BF. The bonus points they say now though are the same with the FT points or there is a ratio between them. Read the promo but cant find any reference about those 5 Bonus Points.

By bonus points I guess they mean the double points you get when participating in this promotion. So it actually means you have to generate $0.50 rake which is 5 regular points.

There is no catch, they are giving away money to promote their site, just like advertising. That's why I said it doesn't compare with the other sites' promotions, which in effect are just a form of rakeback. BTW how did you get that ring game ticket? I tried to get it myself but it seems that only people who had deposited to PokerStars where eligible for it. Had you deposited money to PokerStars before this promotion?

No, I never deposited on pokerstars. All that was required, was linking the accounts.
I think this offer expired december 31st though...
I did deposit my bankrollmob winnings to full tilt a little bit later though, because creating the full tilt account also started the clock on the first deposit bonus, and it made good sense to clear (part of) that as well, using this $20 ticket...

@phoenix2104: Regarding this ring game ticket: I think there was a limited time for this promotion. During this time you have to pair / connect your Pokerstars account with your Fulltilt account. I had deposited money on PS before, but not on FT as far as I remember.
