Record Bad Beat Jackpot at Caesars Windsor

There's a six-figure jackpot up for grabs at Caesars Windsor (one of four casinos in the Detroit-Windsor area) at the moment. The bad beat jackpot in the poker room surpassed $207,000 last night, which means that it's the highest level it has reached since the casino started offering it in 2008. It would be nice to one day catch a bad beat jackpot. The Micro gaming bad beat jackpots were changed at ladbrokes recently. Now you you have a better chance of winning, ok its a smaller amount but you do not even have to be at the table just playing similar stakes.

Will they start to receive more visits with this news? After all, this probably works like free advertising! If i happen to live near it, i would for sure take my chance overthere, not even if it was just spending a few bucks. Now multiply this for thousands of persons who may have the same thought i just did and you see that bad beat jackopt paid to the casino in no time! Congrats in advance for the lucky one!

How come bad beat jackpots and lottery jackpots only increase? Have you ever seen a jackpot decrease anywhere? not me. Our local (national!) lottery also went from a 100K+ now to MillionS and it gets crazier and crazier. Personally, I have mu own thoughts on these things.

By the way, back to bad beat jackpots, how come PokerStars does not have any? Smile

I have a general question about this bad beat jackpots. How do they work. I can't imagine. If you have a bad beat you win the jackpot???? But then it is the question what you define as a bad beat? Just loosing a hand in which you were with over 80% favourite and then lost the hand, or how does it work. Thank you for the explanation. good luck to all

There are off course fixed rules ...most of the time its if your quad 8's or better get beat by even a better hand.

I only read about bad beat jackpot in one or two rooms, in the beginning when I started playing online poker and I played having that bad beat jackpot as an objective. Of course no one should playing thinking about it… But returning to the main theme, at that site in question the terms and conditions refer that it would have to be quad Jacks or higher being beaten by an even higher hand, which turns it even more difficult and improbable to happen than with the quad 8s. Better not think about it.
