What is this black card?  0
On Wednesday, FullTilt Poker announced that it will relaunch the Black Card loyalty program and will offer incentives for VIPs at other sites to transfer their status to Full Tilt. Black Card members will be able to convert all earned Full Tilt Points to cash instantly at full value, with no earn-off bonus or no play-through requirements. At maximum value, this can equal to up to 40% instant cash every week.

Black Card members will also have an opportunity to opt into the first-ever results-based sponsorship program, which was "designed by poker players, for poker players.

Have you ever heard about that? Can you explain, please about that black card?

G'day mate

Wow that does sound really great.
Would immediately change over to fulltilt for that kind of rakeback structure.
Would be stupid not too.
If you can find out anymore about this please post links.

I got an email from FT about that Black Card thing. It sure sounds like a great deal. I just looked in my inbox and was gonna copy it over to here for you folks to read,...but I deleted it earlier I guess.

I'm sure if you go to the website there Ronin you'll find all the info about it....

Ever since I hooked up on FT,...I've been suffering a wee bit of poker overload... Just too much to keep up with to play some of the great tourneys over there, and on PS....

found this at another site Full Tilt Poker announced the return of its top-tier Black Card loyalty program Wednesday, while creating incentives to woo players from other sites.

In an effort to boost its base of loyal players, FTP is offering “VIP Amnesty” to players in April, when they transfer status from another site to the equivalent FTP status.

“We understand that players have put many hours, weeks and sometimes months into earning their VIP status on other sites while unable to play on Full Tilt Poker.” Sarne Lightman, head of marketing at Full Tilt, said in a news release. “The amnesty will allow them to trial our Edge Rewards and Black Card programs at the equivalent level and see for themselves the superior benefits their play level offers at Full Tilt Poker.”

In order to transfer the status, a player must grab a screenshot from the competing client and send it to [email protected].

The new promotions seem to be stepping away from Full Tilt’s stance after last year’s relaunch when officials said they would not compete for high-volume grinders.

Starting in July, they also plan to offer “sponsorship contracts” for six months to the best Black Card players in various types of games, such as cash games, Sit and Gos and MTTs.

“Over the next few weeks we will be reaching out to the poker community to help us design these performance metrics”, Lightman said. “We want the players who will be competing for sponsorship to design the measurement systems for their performance, and we will then reward the best players.”

Players who earn the Black Card, a status that has yet to go live, can convert their points directly into cash at full value, with no play-through requirements, according to a news release. The status could amount to as much as 40% cash back every week—an increase over the announced maximum rates achievable during promotional periods.

Players who maintain that top status for three months receive a physical Black Card. under the old rules players had to earn 500 ftp per day for 100 day's to earn a black card,

Full Tilt Poker Offers ‘Vip Amnesty’ And Will Relaunch Exclusive Black Card Under New Player Loyalty Program
Written by Tongueeter NicholsPublished:Mar 28, 2013
The Black Card is Back
Full Tilt Poker will re-launch the popular Black Card loyalty program for players and is offering incentives for VIPs at other sites to transfer their status to Full Tilt Poker.

Black Card members will be able to convert all earned Full Tilt Points to cash instantly at full value, with no earn-off bonus and no play-through requirements. Depending on what and when players play, this can equate to up to 40% instant cash back every week.

Black Card members will also be able to opt into the first ever results-based sponsorship program – designed by poker players, for poker players.

Launching this July, Full Tilt Poker will be offering a range of sponsorship contracts to the best players (by performance) in a spread of disciplines including, but not limited to, cash games, Sit and Gos and tournaments. Every six months, these contracts will transfer to the players with the best results over the previous six months.

“Over the next few weeks we will be reaching out to the poker community to help us design these performance metrics”, said Sarne Lightman, Head of Marketing at Full Tilt Poker. “We want the players who will be competing for sponsorship to design the measurement systems for their performance, and we will then reward the best players.”

Full Tilt Poker is also offering a ‘VIP Amnesty’ to all poker players throughout April, giving players the opportunity to seamlessly apply the status they’ve earned on other sites toward the equivalent status under the Full Tilt Poker loyalty program.

“We understand that players have put many hours, weeks and sometimes months into earning their VIP status on other sites while unable to play on Full Tilt Poker.” said Lightman. “The amnesty will allow them to trial our Edge Rewards and Black Card programs at the equivalent level and see for themselves the superior benefits their play level offers at Full Tilt Poker.”

To transfer to Full Tilt Poker’s Edge Rewards program, all you need to do is send photographic evidence of your VIP status on your current site, (screenshot from the client with site username visible) to [email protected], along with your Full Tilt Poker user name. Your Full Tilt Poker account will then be upgraded to the equivalent Edge status. Maintain the requisite play levels and once the Black Card level is live, you will be also be upgraded once more to Black Card member status, where you will receive all the benefits of the program.

In addition to all these innovative benefits and rewards, if you maintain Black Card status for three months you’ll also receive the exclusive ‘Black Card’ itself to mark your achievement.

This is great news for people that generate tons of fps when they are playing their A game like rush for ex.

Not sure if the rules will be the same as before back friday but in short terms this is a VIP program similar to PS.
