Romania appoints online regulatory body  0
Romania has become the latest European country to appoint a national governing body for online poker
Although gambling legislation was passed in 2010, the country was unable to implement any changes because it required an organisation to oversee the online industry.
However, following the recent creation of the National Gambling Office, the 2010 regulations can now be put into practice.
For online operators this means they will need to apply for Romanian licence. Moreover, for players, the new laws mean they could face up to two years in prison if they are caught grinding on an unregulated site.
As yet it's not clear which providers will apply for a license, but with strong penalties for those who contravene the new laws, it's likely many of the major sites will comply with the new guidelines.

Either they will apply for a licence or they will back off completely.
Each sites will see if the profit they make from Romanian market is enough.
Otherwise you will start saying goodbye to sites.
