143 players sat down for a bout of bets and bluffs as Day 1B of WPT's Barcelona Main Event got underway. Yesterday's selection of pros pushed the total field to 249 and, at the end of the session, just 89 players remained.Leading the way was local cash game grinder Sergio Fernandez, who earned his place in the Main Event through a live satellite. Ending the day with 170,600 chips, the Spaniard finished ahead of seasoned tournament pros, Paul Berende (108,800), Raul Mestre (53,200) and Davidi Kitai (13,700).
