Let me know how you get along...to get your computer back up there will be two more steps to complete, one will fix your registry and the other will completely defrag your system...can take up to two hours so grab a coffee. Will be here most of the night. [/QUOTE]
I know where my de-fragger is,...but how do you fix the registry...?....or is that another download from Cnet or Microsoft.
I've managed to uninstall them with that program you suggested,...and emptied the recycle bin...but the thing still freezes up when I go to my eBay log in page....

well i wanted to take this bonus at some stage (since free money is not something one should say NO to) but after seeing this sh1t demodawggy is going through is guess i will skip the offer. somehow i think it's too big of a risk to take, winner might be the cleanest software in the world, but if such things happen i guess it's not worth risking your financial data for a mere $10
Whatever they've done to enhance their security...it's malicious software.
Here is what will happen next so there are no surprises. Download CCleaner and install. Now this program will clean up your computer...it will remove all your cookies from your favorite sites, all the expired and new as well. This is not a problem becoz when to log in again a fresh cookie will be installed. It will also remove all your log in details for your favorite sites, FB, EBay, email client, online banking details and yes BRM. So it's important to be sure you remember all your p/w's. After you manually log in with your details. it will take a little longer than usual because a new, fresh cookie will be installed. Next time you log in to these sites will be much, much faster. Open CCleaner, click Analyze, then when complete, Run Cleaner...run this twice. Beside Windows tab, u'll see Application, click, Analyze when complete, then run cleaner Next, on the left side, click Registry, click Scan for issues, when complete, Fix Selected Issues, shud get a pop up, select fix all. Restart your computer. As for defragging the windows defragger is pure junk, so far the best one out there is developed by our Aussi Bros. It's called UltraDefrag. Download and install version 6.0.1. Go to Settings tab, click, scroll down dropdown window and select Boot time Scan, then click enable. On the tool bar place your cursor on the 5th icon, shud say full optimization, click that one. Let it run, It's gonna take some time to complete....worth it in the end. When that has completed, restart your computer again and the rest of the fraged files will be fixed. You won't believe the speed difference when logging on,or moving between sites. You can sign up for the update notifications as well (recommended).
Have an important appointment at noon, will check back in round 13:00.

Hey flyboy,..... I cannot say HOW MUCH I appreciate your help!!!
That crap REALLY had me flustered yesterday. It absolutely RUINED my whole day,...but in the end it turned out to be a great learning experience... That program Search Everything is an AMAZING tool!!!
Few questions:
- when I used that Search Everything,...I just clicked on 'Run' instead of 'Save'. So I'm thinking it only ran it once and it hasn't remained in my computer. I don't see it anywhere. If I redownload it and save it,...I guess it'll be kept in my computer somewhere eh? Is that correct? ...and where would it be saved to...?
-Also,...where can CCleaner and UltraDefrag be found,....cnet also...?
-AND one more thing... I accidentally downloaded a program called OptimimInstaller instead of Search Everything.... That was further down the page and I just hit the Download button at the top... I removed it but it left something called:
MixiDJ V8 Customized Web Search
It's in the little search box at the top right of my screen in the tool bar... It replaced my AVG secure search thingy. The two of them are in the drop down and I can choose which one I want, but I want to remove it too and am having a wee problem doing so.
I downloaded a thing called Toolbar Cleaner from cnet,...but it can;t remove it....
...any ideas on THAT? I Googled MixiDJ V8 Customized Web Search,...and several sites are sying it's malware and tough to remove...
And RONIN.......I will heed your advice from now on and read up on things in several places before downloading things...ESPECIALLY poker sites.... Thanks!!!

Which windows are you running. If you are running windows 7 then click the start button in the bottom left corner of you tool bar. Then click the control panel tab. The forth tab down on the left should say "Programs - uninstall programs" click uninstall programs line and you should get a pop up window which will show all the programs which are on your computer. Find the one for Mixidj and uninstall that bastard, then refresh your control panel and rechect to make sure it is gone.

Hey Ronin,....yep, Windows 7 (nice system that Windows 7),...AND,...checked in there,...it is NOT in the list of programs.... That's the thing about it... It's hiding somewhere else...
I even went through the list by 'Dates Installed' and nothing but the 'Toolbar Cleaner' I installed has been installed in the last few days...

If these programs are in your computer then use the SE by using the search bar.Type in the fille name, You can also type in part of the file and everything (files) that start that way will be listed. Don't forget to restart after you've finished deleting and emptying the Recycle Bin. Yes u can download from Cnet or Major Geeks, PC World.
Use the CCleaner first...after you've removed what you decide this program will remove anything left over in the registry...tend to use it every 2-3 wks for maintenance. For the UltimateDefrag tend to use it after downloading and every 2-3 days for maintenance. When you click download on that page it will direct you to an other page with choices. choose the Win7 file and click on it...make sure it's the version 6.0.1, download should start. If you save instead of run then the file is sitting in your download folder. You can install it from there or remove it. Any ?..just ask.

Thanks for that Weenie.... I'll have to go through that and get any residuals hiding in there...
After reading that first link,...I've learned about customizing downloads,....which I didn't know anything about before...
So I re-downloaded and installed that Search Everything,....and ALONG with it came a bunch MORE surprizes....like 3 different game installations,....AND another browser hijacker,...but instead of MixiDJ,...this one is called Whitesmoke....
I always thought cnet was a good and trustworthy site,...but it seems that you have to be carefull even there.... It's like Hallowe'en where someones stuck a razor-blade in your apple...lol...

Hello, I read about you guys having some problem with WinnerPoker.... I don't have anything. Nothing pop-up ... and already 2 days since instaled. The only thing... Winnerpoker is running very slow on my laptop. And that Silverlight.exe , if i remeber corectly it''s from Loco Panda Casino for the tourneys. Still no problem. Had no problem with registering and stuff. The only thing is some1 took my nick name and had to put something else. This platform isn't almost exactly as Gala CasinoPoker? I didn't played there in the last year but i remember how it was. And had same things as WinnerPoker.

That Ccleaner is a very nice program and free also. I use it myself too and its a saver. Defrag once in a while and a clean up about once a week along with registry cleaner helps your computer having good speeds.
