I tend to find in MTT's less then $2 on stars people to love preflop shoves and plays with ace junk/suited cards.
Just got to bare in mind its around 70/30 in your favour, so a bad beat isnt impossible

So, you're going to win the hand slightly under 2/3 of the time, so roughly 1/3 times you won't win. It's not that huge a deal.

Ok ...from what I understood....you were so pissed about a mediocre situation , that u decided to come and share it on the forum , u have A K , aprox 5 blinds, Villain in BB has Ad5d , aprox 8 blinds.... so...u're pissed about this situation....but you would've probably called if the situation was reversed.... the reason you lost is because when the blinds hit 500/1000 you only have 5 bigs, and couldnt afford to lose a hand, the cards in question are somwhat irrelevant end of

you went all in with 5 big blinds, it was not a bad assumption that since you were short stacked you might be shoving weak (hand like KJ,JQs), he has reason to beleive his ace might be good, he then shoves to isolate you hoping everyone else wil fold.

i get what you are saying but if you were at the table then you will understand, the 2 that were behind him were constantly allin with any 2, i could understand his snap pump if it was me and him, but to pump with rag A with players to act after, especially seeing as they are calling stations, no one could seriously think their rag A was ahead and seeing as i was playing tight and only playing in position or when i had a good starting hand, but the main point of this post was to vent off a bit of anger before continuing with tournament, as previously stated i would rather play on table without holding a grudge against a player so if i vent it somewhere else then it leaves me with a clear head to play my game.
and also another reason was once the flop come down the rest of it was predictable, and no one who plays poker can disagree, but just because something is predictable does not make you a rigtard in anyway!

Pokerstars pays donks and pro`s......not medium players you either are the best and can take a badbeat whenever pokerstars wants or you are the donk to whom the others lose .All poker websites set you up somehow,but the ideea is that if you have that hand you should think that you have a low kicked and you should have not played it in the first place...

well that would be my opinion in why playing A 5 was wrong (main reason being how i played and with calling stations to act after), i also understand i only had AK and still had to hit obviously, but frustrating when flop comes and you just know you are beat.
