I know this problem. I also had it, but I have a good advice. Try it like me, with the brute force method. Just click a few times on the button "join table" and afterwards after the six or seventh try it will open. I have a qther question tu you? how do you think pokerace? You like it?

Well neither did the popup blocker work or the force on the button haha
Cant really say what i think about pokerace as i cant try it out Will let you know when i tried it hehe
------------ Geez, tried even to join table with IE but not working there either.. well to scared to register for a tournament if i cant get the tables to open.. Will try with a freeroll and see what happens lol
Noticed that the cashier button is not working either but i can change avatar, that is working fine.
------------ AAAH The table isnt opening, and the freeroll started. Well they can take back the money as i cant play there anyways lol

Pretty much everything on Poker Ace opens in new windows including the Cashier so it must be something to do with your pop-ups. I had the same problem to start with. Very annoying
Have you told your browser to accept pop-ups from the site? You can add it to the browser settings manually, not sure exactly how for you though as i use Chrome not Firefox but if you go into the advanced browser settings options then there should be a pop-ups section and an option to allow exceptions. If you add http://pokerace.9079494.com to that it should work.
Or maybe just turn it off temporarily just to definitely rule that out?

You will need to contact their support for that. Before doing that so, try to see if you have updated your windows lately. Sometimes these updates messing things up. And of course there is he option of playin in another site
