542 players entered the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown main event over Day 1A and Day 1B last week. Now, after 3 days of play, there are 21 players left fighting for the first prize of a whopping $660,395! Having led the tournament for two days, Shaun Deeb couldn't maintain his run and eventually lost his chips with pocket jacks against Anthony Lombard's pocket queens.
With Deeb watching from the rail, it was Kevin Eyster who assumed control of the tournament with 1,904,000 chips.
That stack was enough to lead the 21 survivors, which included Faraz Jaka (1,470,000), Jeff Madsen (805,000) and Matt Salsberg (746,000), towards tomorrow's final table and $660,395 top prize.

Big names always bring more fun to a big event like this. It will be much more televised and more people will want to know about it. But knowing about their losses with unknown players is also so interesting that everyone that starts watching something like this will want to watch it until the end.
