Caesars Interactive has applied for a license to offer online gaming in New Jersey
The gaming company has sent an application to state officials and will be looking to offer more than just poker.
At present the Caesars Entertainment, the parent company of Caesars Interactive and the WSOP, operates four properties in Atlantic City and it's likely this will aid their application.
If successful in their bid for a state licence, Caesars could become one of the main rivals to PokerStars who are also making provisions to offer online poker in New Jersey.
