Talal Shakerchi, a British hedge fund manager who recently won the EPT London High Roller title, has just been named as the UK's fourth biggest philanthropist. In addition to donating multiple tournament buy-ins to the poker community, including $1 million in the Big One for One Drop, Talal gave £22 million to various charities last year. The former chess enthusiast and owner of Meditor Capital Management has become a firm fixture on the poker scene over the last few years with a string of results in High Roller events. Indeed, in the last two years he's taken down two titles and banked over $1.1 million at the felt.

hey if you want to donate $22 millions you must have at least $22 millions sitting in your account. that means that this guy is making a hell lot of green paper. those wins in poker scene which accumulate for $1.1 million do look very small now doesn't it...
hey lets call brm a charitable organization- maybe talal will drop a million here as well...$1 million guaranteed brm home game?
