I've been grinding the DoN SnG's for a wile with decent results when I've had the time. Now, PartyPoker lowered the minimum buy-in for SnG's so I decided to try a few normal SnG's 6 players for 25c. Here's the results so far:
Played: 17 Won: 8 2nd: 2 Profit: $3,13
Now, SnG's are normally my Achilles heel of poker but for some reason I find these ones fairly easy and the competition kinda soft. I know it's not a big amount of games to analyze but what do you guys think, did I just hit a lucky streak or are these ones actually easier then what the 50c ones were even thought they both were the lowest buy-in games when I played them?

these are very very good numbers and huge profit from 17 0.25c SnG... But I dont think so you will have almost 50% first places in much longer run Try at least 100 SnG (better would be even more) and then look at your stats. Anyway gl
Well, I played 5 more just now, I won 1, finished 3rd in 2 and worse in the other 2. So I'm -46c at the moment. It's a bummer since I was chip leader in one of my 3rd place finishes untill I was dealt AA, one guy went all-in, he did that a lot, he turned over AK. Flop was crap, crap, K, turn crap and river another K so I was sent down to last place. I was BB and got to see the flop for free with 8Q and flop was 9TJ, 2 hearts. The guy I lost to with my aces forced me all-in, I obviously called. He flips over A2 of hearts, the river was a heart and I was out. If that wouldn't have happened, I would have been on the plus side of things now but hey, I might play some more tonight before I go to bed.
------------ I played another 2 tonight. Won one and finished 2nd in another so I'm ending the day on the plus side. Here's the stats:

I used to play Sit&go and for what I see you are getting a really nice ROI. Keep playing to see if you are actually a winner player in this modality of it is just an upswing.
There is a couple of website where u can track your winning and stats if you play Sit&go. They might help you to see your stats in the long run.
Anyway, I think playing normal sit&go is much better than DoN. Since most of DoN are turbo you need to play really well in the push of fold phase to become a winner player.

I think the fee of DON is too much and i think you have to try play that HU of 4 players... more profit and a lot of fish there... win 1 HU and you win 3X buy in.. if you'll win 10 HU you can lose 10 HU because you'll have profit...

I've played a few more but nothing has happened to the profits really.
Played: 34 Won: 13 2nd: 3 Profit: $3,36
I'm not rushing threw the games, just playing when I feel like it so it'll take some time until I've got some real statistics. Hopefully I'll keep turning this profit even after I've played 2000 games.

Played another 20 today. The first 10 was just brutal! Constantly lost due to bad beats no matter what I had! I lost 10 games in a row because of that. The other 10 games went a lot better with 7 finishes ITM.
Todays stats
Played: 20 Won: 3 2nd: 4 Profit: -$0,51
Total stats
Played: 54 Won: 16 2nd: 7 Profit: $2,85
I've lost a few $ since my first post so I need to get my game to a new level. Not really sure how to do that but I think that my game has actually improved at least a little bit since I started with this.
